I forget which manufacturer warned its customers not to park their EVs in a garage or near any structure.

I’m amazed at how many otherwise intelligent Freepers are drinking the government EV koolaid, as if anything the rats push on our republic is in our interest.

“intelligent Freepers are drinking the government EV koolaid, as if anything the rats push on our republic is in our interest.”

Gov’t is not pushing EV’s the car co’s are. They are the ones pushing for new laws via lobbyist. EV’s require half the parts and a 1/3 of the labor to produce compared to a ICE an minimal if zero warranty work. That is why Hertz ordered 100k. No maintence work

Once established and going, car companies are going to make gargantuan profits compared to ICE

“Free Beer”

Well a full charge at home cost $9-10 and home charging stations for level 2 went from $5000 3 years ago to $699 at Home Depot.

You will not recognize the EV’s and what they can do in 5 years

Great, but, even if true, the testing company didn’t do the slightest bit of work during the test, which kinda defeats the whole purpose of owning a truck.

Most of the trucks I see are not work trucks, just a big fancy car. Most of them have never hauled anything other than someone’s fat butt.

You can buy a Tesla to find out the battery life.

We already know they are working on a battery that will last but they have not found it yet.

Batteries are not recyclable yet.

The new Tesla lithium ion batteries are 100% recycleble. They announced it earlier this year.
