Michigan had below average COVID waves last Winter, and during the initial Delta wave.
Now they are finally paying the bill. They may be the only State where this wave is higher than either of those last two.
Lockdowns have not been effective in preventing COVID infections - only in delaying them.
There is no containing COVID-19, especially not the highly transmissible Delta and Omicron variants.
We have treatments, everyone has been offered vaccines.
Let it rip, and be done with it.
Even if they try to slow it down, it will make its way to nearly everyone anyway.
