EL CAJON, Calif. (AP) — A transgender woman has won a settlement in a civil rights lawsuit filed against a Southern California gym that denied her access to the women’s locker room, the American Civil Liberties Union announced.
California’s Department of Fair Employment and Housing sued the Crunch Fitness in El Cajon, alleging Christynne Wood was discriminated against on the basis of her gender identity.
The ACLU and others later joined the suit, filed in San Diego Superior Court. The financial amount Wood will receive was not disclosed, but the agreement also includes anti-discrimination training for employees at the gym, the San Diego Union-Tribune reported Wednesday.
Wood, who remains a gym member, said she felt validated by the settlement.
“Whether you are uncomfortable or not is irrelevant,” she told the Union-Tribune. “People were uncomfortable with integration back in the 50s and 60s.”

It’s gonna be relevant when you walk into the wrong lockerroom and someone’s husband or father knocks your teeth out.
Interesting: we have to tolerate sickos in the women’s room even if it makes us uncomfortable, but conservatives can’t speak on college campuses and can’t post on twitter, facebook or youtube if they say something that makes liberals uncomfortable.

It is what the homosexual community have been aiming for all along. They have been desperately trying to find genetic evidence of homosexuality, and no doubt, transgenders are too. Never mind the DNA evidence is conclusive about transgender people, and has been since the discovery of DNA, with miniscule exceptions that encompass the issues of people who are biologically indeterminate.
Because a woman, black person, or an Asian person has no control over what they are and rightly get civil rights protection, they want to put homosexuals and transgenders in the same grouping.
That mentally ill guy should be ashamed of himself, but I think he is far past the point of shame.
