The large-scale drug trafficking operation of an infamous cartel just got busted in a mountain state some 1,400 miles from its Mexican headquarters and only one U.S. official, a local prosecutor, has dared to acknowledge the obvious; “This poison is coming over from our southern border unchecked,” said the elected prosecutor of Colorado’s largest district. “It will not stop coming over the border from Mexico into our communities until the federal government takes that porous border seriously.” His name is John Kellner, district attorney in the state’s 18th Judicial District which serves a population of about 1.3 million and covers Arapahoe, Douglas, Lincoln, and Elbert counties. The area varies from Denver suburbs to rural neighborhoods.

Bahaha! At this point, it’s obvious that everything crossing the border is desirable to the current administration. They’ve been given a thousand signs and warnings and they wont even make symbolic gestures about fixing the border, let alone starting on anything real.
The drug mess in this country kills as many as Covid. And yet we don’t shut down the borders or address the root cause.
Perhaps we should move the drones we use flying over Yemen and put them on the job in northern Mexico. A few hell fires into processing plants will cut down on their bravado.
But I think we all know that would cause terrorist/cartel attacks in the US that would simply show what an empty husk this country has become.

Largest pot grove in Colorado history was right on the backside of my dad’s property. Cartel growers. They never left the grove and had everything moved to them from across the border. Gas, food, toiletries... everything. They never went to town, just waited on the supply truck to get there from Mexico.

I am not much on ping lists, but on the radio this morning there was news about Denver city council (I think) passing a ghost gun ban. Might be a ping worthy item if you can find something on it online.
