The Senate on Wednesday voted to nix President Biden’s vaccine mandate for larger businesses, handing Republicans a symbolic win.
Senators voted 52-48 on the resolution, which needed a simple majority to be approved. Democratic Sens. Jon Tester (Mont.) and Joe Manchin (W.Va.) voted with Republicans, giving it enough support to be sent to the House.

There are no so-called vax mandates for all businesses.
It’ll never see the light of day in the House, but a nice gesture nonetheless.
DEMs do this all of the time. Put the blame squarely on the House DEMs for lost jobs due to the vaccine mandates.
mandates for travel also needs to be nixed
Right after the courts? How brave.
This is a bigger deal than people think. It’s ammo for the court case.
This smells like a deal. “Look, we voted for your infrastructure deal ... both of them. We are about to give you your debt deal too. We need something meaningless to sell to the base so they don’t notice that we are the ones enabling Biden and you guys to get the most extreme left wing legislation ever passed. Just let us vote to block vaccination mandates. It won’t matter, won’t count because house wont support but it will allow us to pretend ‘we fought Biden tooth and nail!’ and keep the charade going a little longer”
And if it did, wouldn't Biden veto the legislation?
Republican elites act like they have really done somethin’.
I think it will.
This vax mandate crap is Nazi. Even the left is seeing it.
I had a lefty instructor today say Trump would have done the same thing.
That’s all I needed to hear.
Lefty boy explaining away the socialism by saying “Trump would have done it”.
I had no further reason to say anything.
Agreed—the courts need some political cover to do the right thing.
Even if by some miracle, it passes the House ( much less be given the time of day to be considered ), it faces Joe Biden’s veto pen.
Elections have consequences unfortunately.
I always wonder why someone might say something like the “Republicans caved” when not a single one voted for the item in question... ??!?
This issue is in the Court.
This is a preliminary vote of confidence that Congress will not order this injection on 25% of the workforce.
They are seeing numbers that will shut down the USA in a week.
Crazy click bait.
The titles are hyped to get you to read it.
