Super duo combine
It was the 89th and 90th TDs between star duo Brady and Gronkowski – moving them second on the all-time list, topped by Hall of Famers Peyton Manning and Marvin Harrison (112).
"I hope we do. I look for him down there, he is a really big target most of the game," the 44-year-old Brady said when asked if he and Gronkowski would play long enough to eclipse Manning and Harrison.

Gronk looked waaaaay too comfortable in that girl’s soccer uniform in the Tide Pod commercials...............
Since I try not to watch commercials, I've not seen the Tide commercial but Kronk does many of them and is just cashing in on his on field success.
If you're implying that Kronk is a fag, send your comment to his email and use you own real information...and good luck.
Still can’t figure out why Gronkowski is on the USAA commercials. A big fail from a PR standpoint for both USAA and Gronkowski. Wealthy celebrity athlete trying to use his boyish charm to weasel in on military veteran benefits? Not a good look.
Kronk = Gronk; oopppps, my bad.
Don’t get me wrong, I love Gronk ....................... AT TAMPA.
In New England .... not so much!...................
It’s a comedy act..............
It's a great message from USSA to it's potential audience, Vets.
I am a vet and I loved it, it was saying if you are not a Vet, sorry, we don't care that you catch a football.
“Still can’t figure out why Gronkowski is on the USAA commercials”
My guess is that Brady is behind it using his clout to get Gronk extra money. I read somewhere that Brady does that to help the team.
big deal, the packaged tammy brady product from the nfl with the lunk head tightend playing in the patty cake era of offense designed to make legends.
im happy to be the old man yelling to get off the grass of the glory days of the 70s nfl where you were actually permitted to play defense, and could, you know, hit the other players.....and where the offense was actually required to run and pass against a defense to win....
You are missing the point: He is a famous, entitled athlete and he CANNOT get in on the insurance.
That said, USAA is not a “veteran’s benefit.” Those can only be provided by the government. Their insurance is available to generations of people who have never seen a uniform, let alone worn one.
It started out as a company targeting Vets because they were a more reliable risk. Now...its pretty much a marketing tool. The fact that I could sign up because I have a copy of my Dad’s Discharge papers is kind of silly.
When I joined USAA, they only accepted military officers. Then they started accepting enlisted, and now, anybody who had a relative who served.
Peyton Manning and Marvin Harrison (112).
This surprised me, I thought it would be Joe Montana and Jerry Rice.
“anybody who had a relative who served”
Is this a recent change?
Last time I checked, you had to be a direct relation to somebody in the military. My father served in the Army Air Corp in WWII. The last time I checked, I did not qualify. Maybe I should check again.
Let me correct my previous statement:
My father was an enlisted man in the Army Air Corp. He was field promoted to a Captain(all the LTs and the Captain were injured/dead). He was discharged as a Staff Sargent.

I knew we go the whole thread without the Brady haters chiming in. Sad.
“It started out as a company targeting Vets because they were a more reliable risk.”
The families of veterans are still a more reliable risk. That’s one big reason why USAA has (relatively) low rates. When I first became eligible for USAA car insurance, through marriage, I checked with my insurer (Allstate at the time) to give them an opportunity to keep my (our) business. The Allstate rep said he wouldn’t even bother to give me a quote because he knew he couldn’t compete with USAA.
It makes me wonder if they offered USAA services to him as part of the deal and if they're looking at offering services to non-military members or non-military family members.
