On Friday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “America’s Newsroom,” San Jose Mayor Sam Liccardo (D) disagreed with White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki’s assertion that the pandemic is a root cause of the recent wave of smash and grab retail thefts and argued that criminals are at the root of the crimes.
Co-host Dana Perino asked, “[T]he White House yesterday said that they believe that the pandemic is at the root cause of a lot of this smash and grab crime. Do you think that’s right?”

Democrat Sam Liccardo, San Jose, California mayor did not allow his cops to protect Americans attending a Donald Trump rally. His mob physically attacked , spit upon and threw objects at men, women and kids as they exited the Trump rally in San Jose. IMO Mayor Sam Liccardo is a thug.

It’s called Third Worldization! It’s the utter breakdown of the law, and the ability of the rich within such a feudal society to find ways to avoid the violent chaos.

Such impoverishment pales in comparison to the encampments of present-day Fresno, Los Angeles, Sacramento, or San Francisco. Tens of thousands live on sidewalks and in open view use them to defecate, urinate, inject drugs, and dispose of refuse.
Violent crime is now soaring in America. But two things are different about America’s new criminality.
• One is the virtual impunity of it. Thieves now brazenly swarm a store, ransack, steal, and flee with the merchandise without worry of arrest.
• • Second, the Left often justifies crime as a sort of righteous payback against a supposedly exploitative system.
So, the architect of the so-called 1619 Project, Nikole Hannah-Jones, preened of the riotous destruction of property during the summer of 2020:
“Destroying property, which can be replaced, is not violence.”
Third Worldization reflects the asymmetry of law enforcement. Ideology and money, not the law, adjudicate who gets arrested and tried, and who does not.

It's one of the reasons I really don't care very much about January 6. They promoted the idea that unlawful conduct is perfectly acceptable if your cause is sufficiently "just."
