Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, D-N.H., issued a warning to the Supreme Court days before oral arguments in a potential landmark abortion case, claiming that a “revolution” will take place if the high court overturns existing precedent.
During a virtual event Monday featuring New Hampshire’s entire House and Senate delegation, WMUR reporter Adam Sexton had asked if public debate over abortion had “muted” due to many people in the U.S. only knowing life post-Roe v. Wade. Shaheen asserted that nothing would be muted about the reaction to a possible overturning of that decision. “I hope the Supreme Court is listening to the people of the United States because – to go back to Adam Sexton’s question – I think if you want to see a revolution go ahead, outlaw Roe v. Wade and see what the response is of the public, particularly young people,” Shaheen said toward the end of the event. “Because I think that will not be acceptable to young women or young men.”

Fair point. While there are occasional nominal givebacks of liberty, by the government, the general arc of history is toward centralization, micro management, and corruption.
If Roe is overturned, abortions will not be banned, but rather the subject becomes a matter for the various states to decide. That would be in accordance with the US Constitution.

Will the House democrats go after her for encitement of violence for her words? Get ready Jeanne Shaheen because Roe vs Wade is going to be reversed. It was an unConstitutional decision. It violated the 10th Amendment which means it has no standing. It was Harry Blackmun trying to grab for the Federal Government regulation that belongs to the States.
And the ultimate make a lib head explode ruling the SC could make is a Dem law stacking the court is ruled arbitrary and capricious and therefore unconstitutional.
There was a time when abortion was illegal in all states.
So when you speak of precedence...don't bury the fact that the people held the "life of the unborn" as a right of that child.
So, how is she allowed to make such a statement threatening the Supreme Court and not get a visit from the FBI? Well?

Doesn’t this kind of thing undermine the “foundation of our democracy”? That’s what that loon Mitt Romney said about alleging election fraud. Does he have anything to say about Shaheen’s not so veiled threat? Of course not. What does that tell us about Mitt?

The hypocrisy and the contradictions upholding the regime of Roe—as with the banning of obscenity laws (while enforcing political correctness and protecting cancel-culture)—are going to collapse like a three-mile bridge made of toothpicks.
She should be censured by the Senate for threatening another branch of government for doing its job. Of course, that’ll never happen - but it SHOULD.

I think it’s a virtual guarantee that roe is going to be overturned. Why? Because the left wants it overturned. And the Supreme Court Justices will do what their masters say. Why does the left want it overturned? Because it will help their chances in the midterms. They don’t give a damn one way or another about butchered babies. They’re just doing what keeps them in power so they are absolutely going to want roe overturned and again the Supreme Court slaves will do their bidding. Which is a good thing in this case.
