Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, D-N.H., issued a warning to the Supreme Court days before oral arguments in a potential landmark abortion case, claiming that a “revolution” will take place if the high court overturns existing precedent.
During a virtual event Monday featuring New Hampshire’s entire House and Senate delegation, WMUR reporter Adam Sexton had asked if public debate over abortion had “muted” due to many people in the U.S. only knowing life post-Roe v. Wade. Shaheen asserted that nothing would be muted about the reaction to a possible overturning of that decision. “I hope the Supreme Court is listening to the people of the United States because – to go back to Adam Sexton’s question – I think if you want to see a revolution go ahead, outlaw Roe v. Wade and see what the response is of the public, particularly young people,” Shaheen said toward the end of the event. “Because I think that will not be acceptable to young women or young men.”

She joins Schumer on the list of Congress members who have threatened the Supreme Court. We ARE in an attempted coup of the entire government going on and our representatives in Congress are doing NOTHING to stop it.

God, some of these politicians are so utterly stupid and ignorant. It’s ridiculous to speak of “outlawing” a court case. *Overturning* a court ruling doesn’t “outlaw” a damned thing. If the kids in her state of New Hampshire love abortion so much, then, fine, I’m sure the legislature there will accommodate them.
That's like expecting a bank robber to investigate himself and determine he is guilty of the crime.
If that would cause a revolution b/c young men and women don’t like it, then we are truly lost.

Can I say to her that if she and her ilk prevent the Supreme Court from making a well-thought-out decision through intimidation, there will be a revolution and she and the others will be hanged? She and Schumer seem to get away with saying outrageous things, why can't I make similar comments? Or, can I?
Like she is going to give up her well paid gig.
Jean Shaheen may not get the kind of revolution she is looking for.

As a side note, the more this goes on, the solution becomes more obvious. The question is: which mouse steps forward to put the proverbial bell on the cat?
If Roe gets overturned, it will just give Sleepy46 the power to stack the court. Roe will get reinstated and conservatives will never win another SC case.
This won’t be their last threat, either.
