An Italian man who wanted a Covid vaccination certificate without getting the jab turned up for his vaccine with a fake arm, officials say.
The man, in his 50s, arrived for his shot with a silicone mould covering his real arm, hoping it would go unnoticed.
But a nurse was not fooled and the man has now been reported to the police.

LOL. I don’t blame this paisan for trying, but it’s pretty hilarious that he thought this might work. Seems like a scene out of a Fellini comedy.
Forgery is the better method at this point.
With annual compliance boosters on the way he would’ve just had to do this again later.
I love it!
Curley, is that you?
Reported for what?
That silicone lump dodged a bullet, a shortened and disease-riddled life awaited it.
Brilliant idea, but poorly executed.
Which reminds me…..
Would joined twins need two shots?
ha ha ha...
That’s funny, once you see what gag the two men are pulling.
Bribery might be better yet, but as you point out, he’d have to do it for every booster, too.
Reported to the police though?
Italian man...
~~~
He would have got away with it if he used a florida man’s arm
In Italy?! What, you can’t find some connected doctor who will sign off on a “real” certificate? It’s Italy, no shortage of people at all levels HAPPY to be paid off.
Surprised bribery was not successful...
Penn and Teller did that in a trick once.
Teller, seated at a card table, puts his hand palm-down on the table and proceeds to cut off one of his own fingers. And he was gesturing with that hand the moment before, so there was no doubt that that was a real, live hand.
Turns out it was a real hand but it wasn’t Teller’s forearm coming out of his shirt sleeve. There was the forearm of a guy who was missing a finger, hidden beneath the table The forearm on the table was his, not Teller’s. And the finger Teller cut off was a stage prop replica of the man beneath the table’s missing finger.
You just have to wonder how many time the accomplice made Teller rehearse the trick to make sure he didn’t come up missing a second finger.
