Hunter Biden’s therapist and confidant, Dr. Keith Ablow, repeatedly made allusions to Joe Biden having struggled with dementia, according to materials on Hunter’s laptop reported in The Laptop From Hell, a new book by New York Post columnist Miranda Devine.
In January 2019, Ablow offered to provide a tongue-in-cheek endorsement for a Joe Biden presidential campaign: “‘Any man who can triumph over dementia is a giant. Think what he could do for our nation’s needed recovery.’ Dr Keith Ablow.”
“Perhaps he can help us remember all we intended to be as a people since he can now remember his address,” the mock endorsement continued.
Ablow was close to Hunter and also served as his onetime landlord, the book says. In February 2019, Ablow and Hunter discussed hosting a podcast together, with Hunter texting: “Dad is our first guest.”
Ablow responded: “Does he recall details tho, with the dementia and all.”
Hunter retorted: “Not much these days but since it’s all fake news anyway I don’t see the problem.”

Is triumph a synonym for succomb?
Does ethics have no meaning anymore?
In my experience with afflicted elderly family and friend’s elderly family, it’s a one way path. Slowing it down is the best goal you have.
Ethics are only for certain people like you and me. It certainly doesn’t apply to the Bidens or their advice-givers.
Has anyone ever recovered from dementia? My father didn’t.
In a dictionary somewhere, This guy’s face is next to the word “asshat” .
Nobody triumphs over dementia. They succumb to it.
Truly triumphing over dementia (almost unheard of, BTW) and ‘triumphing’ over the stigma of being demented because political allies, the entirety of MSM and all of leftdom IGNORE it and say otherwise are TWO DIFFERENT THINGS.
That’s pretty much the standard chain of events. Triumphing over it is just BS.
“Dr Keith Ablow.”
Hunter’s alter ego.
As for:
Think what he (Biden) could do for our nation’s needed recovery.
Yeah, some "recovery" - if this is what you have in mind:
...soaring inflation; uncertain energy supplies as the winter season begins; a diminishing workforce; a supply chain so broken that some experts believe that it will not be able to be fixed until 2024; a Covid vaccination policy that has led to the vaccinated dying at higher rates than the unvaccinated (and in which the vaccinated are suffering from millions of injuries that do not afflict the unvaccinated); the criminalization of cheap and effective cures for Covid (ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine) while mandating ineffective, experimental, and dangerous mRNA therapies masquerading as vaccines; an agricultural policy that pays farmers one and a half times normal subsidies as long as they destroy their crops (while simultaneously having two million additional illegal alien mouths to feed); Third World-style lawlessness in Leftist-controlled metropolitan areas; a devastated military that is no longer capable of defending the country; a Department of Justice that views parents who attend school board meetings as domestic terrorists but supports Antifa and BLM; and an FBI that should be renamed the KGB.
His license needs to be pulled for malpractice.
A patient doesn’t triumph over dementia which is progressive.
The condition is managed, not cured and never ”better.”
Ablow? Some people are aptly named.
Anyone who has been around dementia can see him failing after about 30 seconds.
Wow. These people can really spit out lies. I really hope no one is so stupid to believe them.
“Ablow served as his landlord”? That’s a new turn of phrase.
This Dr Keith Ablow (very attractive name for a coke head like Hunter) lost his license.
My wife is a retired nurse and department head who specialized in dementia during much of her career. She said the elderly patients she saw who had what seemed to be dementia who got better were typically getting over a traumatic life event such as losing a spouse, a medication problem, a nutritional problem, head injuries, stroke, or some other serious medical problem such as a heart condition. So yes many elderly people do get over what appears to be dementia. Is Joe Biden one of these people? Oh he’ll no! He has lost it completely and it ain’t comin’ back.
