The Wisconsin Supreme Court on Tuesday sided with Republicans in a redistricting case that lays the groundwork for the state’s current political boundaries to remain largely intact for the next decade.
In a 4-3 ruling, the court’s conservative majority said it would take a “least changes” approach to Wisconsin’s current legislative and congressional maps, effectively limiting any changes in political boundaries to population changes.
The ruling means that the court will make as few changes as possible to political maps drawn and adopted in 2011. ....

So what can the Republican legislature do, in a mostly Republican state, do to protect the rights of voters that actually obey the rules?
Otherwise it amounts to little but fluff.
Trump increased his margins in Wisconsin on those Dominion machines.
Dane County and Milwaukee (where the late absentees came in) don’t use Dominion machines.
But hey, don’t let the facts get in the way of your narrative.
“But hey, don’t let the facts get in the way of your narrative.”
Its a narrative that is getting old and tiresome.
Gloom and Doom Freepers have every right to be babies and sit out these “rigged elections.” They don’t owe any political party their vote, its their vote to do as they like.
I mean we don’t have a chance with the media, urban cheating, the deep state, assistant democrats, dominion voting machines, and Tech sector censorship.(sarcasm) So sitting out and being a quitter seems like a logical action for people disenchanted with the current voting system.
I just don’t get why they want to chime in with their negativity 24/7. It seems like knowing the Democrats are an invincible force(sarcasm) would help them relax a little bit. Instead they want company in their misery. I don’t “get them.”
Meanwhile here in Pa. Gov.Wolf is circumventing the Republican legislature and is drawing up his own districting map. He will present this to the overwhelmingly liberal Pa. Supreme Court and they will vote in his favor. The Constitution means nothing to these enemies of society.
David didn’t have a chance against Goliath.
10,000 Knights of Malta didn’t have a chance against 100,000 Turks.
80 Brit riflemen didn’t have a chance against 4,000 Zulus.
I could go on. Yes there was fraud. Yes, it was real. Did it make a difference? I absolutely believe 2020 was stolen but so far, it has not been PROVEN. It’s been asserted, and there is more than enough to raise suspicions, but as Lanny Davis would say, we don’t have “pwoof.” I wish we did. Someday we will learn exactly how they got away with it.
Meanwhile, although others may sit back in 2022 and 2024, I plan to win. Improvise, adapt, overcome.
Whine, complain, and sit at home is not among those listed.
Bingo! The only reason to chime in like this is to project their doom and discourage others from voting.
Narrative matters more than reality to all too many on the right anymore - that used to be a trait mostly found on the Left. This is becoming less and less the case.
Yep. Social media has ruined us. Critical thinking is just too hard for so many in the era of memes and Twitter takes.
But still using Dominion voting machines??
—
According to some here, we don’t use Dominion machines and the whole steal was done by mail-in ballots. This, despite a map during the election, that listed WI ,county by county, as having said machines.
True, very good news..
Some good news in WI at least, this means GOP will keep solid control of the leg and pick up the Ron Kind seat.
That certainly is better news than the alternative would be, but I’m not popping the champagne yet. If the WI supreme court makes the fewest changes possible to the current map it might still leave a very competitive WI-03, given that it was drawn by Republicans to be a Democrat seat (and that’s how it voted until 2016) and if its tentacles reaching out to Dem areas are kept intact, and the population that it needs to reach the required population comes from the counties in the north and west portions of the overfull WI-02. In fact, the WI-03 could be made *less* Republican under that approach. Please note that the map that the WI legislature approved but Gov. Evers vetoed (which map was OK, but not all that great) made WI-03 GOP-leaning by making the CD much more compact, not by keeping it as close as possible to the 2011 version.
What exactly do you consider “proof”?
Well said. We have no need for defeatism on our side. There’s far too much at stake.
L
Easy. It would have to be shown that not only were there 17,000 duplicates, but that enough of them went to Trump to change the outcome. In other words, you’d have to match ballots to people in a canvass, which apparently was done and did not turn up anything unusual.
I was one of those canvassed.
Just having duplicate ballots doesn’t show who those ballots were for. Theoretically, they all could have gone for Trump. We don’t know. We SUSPECT.
Thanks for posting! That is some good news.
Now, if we could just find a way THROUGH the obstructionist Socialist Democrats in this state and get to the bottom of the FRAUD in our 2020 election!
Green Bay? Madistan? Milwaukeestan? I’m taking to YOU!
I have some other good news! The WI Republicans put out the call and now have 40% MORE conservative Poll Workers (not ‘watchers,’ WORKERS!) in Dane County and added FIVE HUNDRED to Milwaukee County.
It’s the least we can do, but it’s a good start!
Another thing that would help greatly is getting the School Board elections moved to the FALL ballot - the Socialist Democrats turn out in DROVES for the spring elections - the Republicans? Not so much. I mean, it’ll take an act of our Congress, but it CAN be done.
FWIW, if YOU have Spring Elections where you live, you need to look into this, too. The Socialist Democrats figured this out decades ago and this is part of the reason our schools are so cr@ppy now, and also the reason we have all the gender-bender cr@p in our schools and are having CRT shoved down our collective throats!
It all goes back to stolen elections, FRiends. ALL of it!
