House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) urged voters, including independent and Democrat voters, to back the GOP ticket in the 2022 midterm elections.
According to McCarthy, the key to solving many of the nation’s woes would be to “fire” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).
“You know, the sad part about it, you’re right, Sean,” he said. Had Joe Biden done nothing in office, literally gone to sleep, our country would be stronger. We’d be energy-independent. It wouldn’t be China and Russia winning. It’d be America that was winning. Our borders would be secure. We wouldn’t have rising inflation. This is the problem. One-party rule in one year.”

How about a great deal for the American people? Both current leadership of both parties mutually resign? Let’s get new people—maybe Freedom Caucus for Republicans and let socialist democrats pick their own new leadership—AOC?

Well, to be fair, the country WILL be fixed for McCarthy. McCarthy would be come Speaker with all the perks that come with that. As for the rest of us? Do you think any of them care?
Bottom line is that the political class can say or do almost anything, wreck the country, and their lives are still going to be very, very good.

Shut up McCarthy! I’ve heard this RINO pitch since the days of Jerry Ford. Just give me the majority and everything will be alright! This isn’t about electing Republicans, it’s about electing the RIGHT REPUBLICANS. Republicans have been in and out of power for my entire lifetime, and we still have largely lost the country. Within the last decade, the Rs have lost the battle between big v. small government and corporate taxes. What MAGA supporter believes it’s a good idea to cut a tax breaks for WOKE big business? They can all shutter their offices up for all I care. Now beat it, and take Mitch with you!

Freedom Caucus for Republicans....every Republican in Congress should be a part of it. Most aren’t and they all still get sent back, year after year.
IMHO they aren’t much better. Given their numbers they have room to run their mouths on tv and some Congressional hearings, knowing that what they say doesn’t matter and what they want has no chance to pass or even be considered. When the rubber meets the road they’re all lockstep with McCarthy, McConnell and the UNIPARTY.
Wish it were different, but it isn’t.
