ANN ARBOR, MI — It’s been 26 years since Janine Easter met Hillary Clinton at the White House and convinced the first lady to come visit her diehard fan club in Ann Arbor.
Clinton’s book signing at Borders downtown in 1996, followed by a gathering with fans inside the Michigan Theater, was a big deal for Easter and many others. The first lady also made a return visit two years later and again met with her loyal fans.

I don’t see anyone as a god except for Jesus Christ. They are just people with faults of their own. The only person I would like to have met and seen in action is General Patton. He wouldn’t have given me the time of day but it would have been great witnessing him in action.
