Jack Dorsey Expected To Step Down As Twitter CEO: REPORT
Daily Caller ^ | 29 Nov 21 | AILAN EVANS

Posted on 11/29/2021 7:33:17 AM PST by BlackFemaleArmyColonel

Twitter chief executive Jack Dorsey is expected to step down from his position leading the social media company, CNBC reported, citing multiple sources.

It’s unclear exactly why Dorsey, who co-founded Twitter and currently serves as chief executive of financial technology firm Square, will step down, according to CNBC. Private equity firm Elliot Management previously attempted to oust Dorsey in 2020, the outlet reported.

It’s unclear who is set to succeed Dorsey, CNBC said. Twitter’s share price rose 11% following the news reports, according to CNBC. (RELATED: JD Vance Says Twitter Suspended His Campaign Press Account With ‘No Explanation’)

Twitter unrolled several new features for its platform in recent months, including a feature called “Spaces” that allows users to communicate with one another in a voice chat mode. The social media company also released a feature called “Twitter Blue” which allows users to access ad-free news coverage and other features through the Twitter platform.

Twitter did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.

This story is breaking and will be updated.

Dorsey must hear his cell door slamming shut like the rest of those choosing to get out of Dodge.

‘Zactly what I was thinking, though I suspect he like to ‘mix things up’ with a little XY, rather than XX. (Just diversity in the alphabet, you understand.)

Dorsey is quitting as the Ghislane Maxwell trial commences.

I do not see this as a coincidence.

Thank you. I’m with you and use Twitter the same way you do now.

I’ve had read-only status for a few months. I can see everyone I followed as well and who followed me…plus my tweets. There are no followers now, of course, but I was followed by David Limbaugh but was also followed by Lin Wood. The latter being the kiss of death…..plus I asked Jack a lot of pointed questions over time. I take responsibility for myself.

I wasn’t in attendance at The Jan 6 rally. It was the Feast of the Epiphany and also my birthday. I expected so many meaningful things to come out of that rally and was horrified when the commies took it over.

I never made it to any rally. But I was MAGA nonetheless.

I thought this was America.

Didn’t a Republican Hedge Fund guy, supporter of President Trump buy a ton of Twitter stock? Could that have played a role?

Billionaire Republican buys major Twitter stake, may oust CEO amid GOP concerns of bias, reports say

Is his name due to be mentioned in the Ghislane trial?

That was the synapse in my brain that fired as well.

His replacement will be even worse

A "new CEO" will be no better, for the same reason that a Biden resignation would accomplish nothing good.

Dorsey's replacement Parag Agrawal, as described in Breitbart News:

"In an interview with the MIT Technology Review last year, Agrawal said that Twitter no longer considered free speech to be an area of focus.

“Our role is not to be bound by the First Amendment, but our role is to serve a healthy public conversation and our moves are reflective of things that we believe lead to a healthier public conversation,” said Agrawal. “The kinds of things that we do about this is, focus less on thinking about free speech, but thinking about how the times have changed.”

Agrawal said that the priority of the company was “directing” people’s attention to tweets that served “healthy” conversations.

“One of the changes today that we see is speech is easy on the internet. Most people can speak. Where our role is particularly emphasized is who can be heard.”

“The scarce commodity today is attention. There’s a lot of content out there. A lot of tweets out there, not all of it gets attention, some subset of it gets attention. And so increasingly our role is moving towards how we recommend content and that sort of, is, is, a struggle that we’re working through in terms of how we make sure these recommendation systems that we’re building, how we direct people’s attention is leading to a healthy public conversation that is most participatory.”

"Indian-born" upper-caste fool. Choke on those words under oath in front of a Committee ready to atomize Twitter in 2023; and meanwhile, keep in mind your Uber driver, your waiter, your doorman, the food prep guy at Pak Punjab in the Village -- they all voted for Trump. *spit*
