New Unemployment Claims Drop to a 50-year Low
Marketplace ^ | 11/24/2021 | Samantha Fields

A whole bunch of data about the economy was released Wednesday — a day early
because of Thanksgiving — and a lot of it was positive.

We learned that the Federal Reserve is bullish on the economy’s prospects
through the end of next year. In the minutes of the Open Market Committee
meeting earlier this month, the central bank’s staff predicts gross domestic
product will post “sizable” gains this year and next.

Some of Wednesday’s news was a downer — consumer confidence fell to its
lowest point in a decade, according to the University of Michigan. And the
personal consumption expenditures price index showed that inflation’s running
at 4.1%.

But a lot of other news was good: Household spending was up in October, and
first-time unemployment claims were just 199,000 — the lowest they’ve been
since the pandemic began.

But not just that. The Department of Labor noted that’s also the lowest they’ve
been since 1969.

“My first reaction is wow,” said Mark Hamrick, a senior economist at Bankrate.

Despite his own initial reaction, Hamrick said it’s also true that a single week
of unemployment numbers doesn’t really tell us all that much. Nor does comparing
today’s economy to the one way back then.

“The economy has obviously been massively transformed since 1969,” he said. “And
so this just tells you that it is not very often that we see a new jobless claims
number that has a one handle on it.”

Even though it is just one week of data — and could well be adjusted upward later —
it does fit into the big picture trend: (Paraphrased) Unemployed numbers are dropping.

Tremendous statistics Kabuki dance to drop that claim.

If there are record numbers of people already not working since half a forever, of course there are record no new unemployment applications. Those were filed at the start of the covid dance.

Like claiming no recent flat tire emergency AAA calls for cars that have been in the junk yard rusting away for the last two years.

1) Then why are businesses still begging for people to work?

Here is one of several explanations with an interactive chart:

https://tradingeconomics.com/united-states/job-quits

From the link.

“The number of Americans who quit their jobs voluntarily rose to 4.4 million in September, a record since the data become available in 2000 as workers looked for higher wages and better working conditions. There was a record number of people quitting jobs in the leisure and hospitality, manufacturing and health care sectors. Also, quits went up in arts, entertainment and recreation, other services, and state and local government education.”

“...first-time unemployment claims were just 199,000...”

Because everybody’s already on unemployment?

Yes, but just because the law is different from what the Biden gang is doing does not always stop them. Impeachment is supposed to be the remedy but even if you got 67 senate votes to convict, Kamala is Biden’s Spriro Agnew.

Recall that the Dems got Spiro to resign before they went after Tricky Dick.

Dems are still able to use or stop impeachment at will. The media, deep state , nd tech monoplies have brainwashed enough of the public.

They tried to get our man twice, and failed each time. Like getting a poodle to back down. Barking up a storm at you until you show you’re not only not afraid of it, but liable to kick it into the next county. Nixon shouldn’t have resigned, or got Archibald Cox fired. Spiro, I don’t know the details of why he resigned. Something to do with graft as governor of Maryland?

I don’t have all the answers about Agnew, but Robert Bork advised Nixon that he was ready to indict Agnew. But my point was that in 1973 the people did not want Agnew to be POTUS, and now they don’t like Kamala either. After Agnew resigned the way to impeachment would be easier.

So the first one to go after is Kamala. That will automatically make whoever exposes her crooked dealings (wanna bet she has some?) a racist, a sexist, and a cacklophobe. BFD. Her with her hand on the nuclear football is downright frightening. She has to go.

If they used it up, they wouldn’t be considered a New claim. So you’re wrong.

We should not underestimate the hidden lunacy of potential Kamala replacements. Look at Merrick Garland before and after becoming AG. Here is the point at which the Kamala-Spiro comparison spins off into the unknown. It’s not the same as replacing Agnew with Ford.

Nanshy and Blinkin would be next in line after Kamala. That’s four layers of dangerous lunatics/idiots/takeyerpick. Basically, everyone has to endure and pray for a miracle. No early out. Maybe China will off them once they’ve outlived their uselessness. Then it’ll be up to the Wolverines to take back the country from the Chinese. Sadly, not kidding.

Or Biden could appoint Booty Judge. After all, he was a mayor. But |Pelosi seems to be more Stalinesque than Biden and Pete put together. And if Kamala resigns, a GOP House could try to impeach Nancy but I don’t think they would have 67 votes. When Biden goes away, Pelosi might want to leave the Kamala dummy in place and just give her orders.

Nanshy doesn’t have to be impeached. She could get a vote of no-confidence even now, and—hey! presto!—First black woman Speaker, Maxine Waters! Who, when Kamala and Foe are both gone, becomes POTUS. My mouth is just watering with anticipation./s

Or, midterms give you a Republican Speaker. Get rid of Joe, Kamala and Nanshy/Maxine/whoever, and Mitch McConnell becomes acting POTUS. There are worse things, as stated just above. But the question would remain, can the country survive until mid-terms, or will everyone have to learn Chinese, Russian or Spanish and go to work in the salt mines, passing every day the crucified remains of POTUSDJT.

Somehow I think the dems would notice and have a very deep pool of POTUS and VP replacements via presidential appointment ready.

Yep, kind of hard to have lots of first-time claims when no one is employed already. (Figures lie and liars figure)

D-Employment. Employment that is unable to offset the costs of living. Housing fuel gasoline transportation.
Which is why stiff inventory controls are now in place. Price protections.

Animal conditioning. Young multiple housed. Dis-educated and controlled.

Congress confirmed Gerald Ford as VP, and then when Nixon resigned, Rockefeller as Ford’s VP. I am not aware of any presidential appointment power, other than to nominate a replacement for Congressional approval. But it’s moot. By the time mid-terms are over and the new Congressmen installed, Foe will no longer be coherent enough to do or say anything, let alone go through the motions of appointing Xi Jing Pig’s selected replacement. He’s declining rapidly, will have to be 25th-ed or heart attacked. Mitch is POTUS by default.
