We are all familiar with the pending supply chain shortages and price increases. Not to pile on, but recently I was in contact with an insider whose family is in key positions in several poultry plants. We’ll call him “Elliott” to protect his identity. He would not let me name the plants his family worked for but did share that there were several, mostly in the midwest/upper south.
Elliott laid out some of his evidence in a lengthy Twitter thread where he said the “current situation is more dire than most people think.” He even went so far as to say we could see a “total collapse” of the food supply. I asked Elliott if his insider knowledge applied to other poultry or meat plants, and he said others were “running into the same issues.”

Well, just ignore the “mandates”. They aren’t legally binding.
What kind of fertilizer do chickens need? The kind of fertilizer that helps grow the soybeans and corn , etc., that the chickens eat to grow on.
. Soy beans are a legume and don't require all that much fertilizer.
This is an article written by a rather well-known Freeper who regularly writes here and has been on various cable shows and have their own podcast.
I appreciated the posting.
Why are you calling this abuse?!?!?!
Several very interesting points noted in this article—OVER regulation!!!!!
Thank you for posting.
When and if it gets down to people not having food to feed their families is when the war starts, there is nothing to lose
Sir....UNCOVEREDDC-— Tracy Beanz is a quality journalist and her material is far better than anything published by the so-call main stream media.
Pretty sure their feed does.
Yeah, the problm with this particular “sky is falling” claim is that US farmers produced a bumper crop this year. The corn crop is 7% larger than last year.
Might be of interest...
😱
Agreed, but the supply chain stuff really didn’t hit til a few months ago.
There simply is no way that a) massive energy costs/fertilizer costs; 2) one hundred THOUSAND containers sitting off LA; and 3) vax mandates don’t have a serious effect. How serious? I don’t know, but we stocked up on chicken, so I don’t care.
Could be, because at this point in his life, he's completely witless...
That is an interesting place to live, although I’ve no idea where it is. Please keep the forum informed if you hear of anything that we can take personal preparation prior to. E.g., in Feb. 2020, I started stocking up before shortages hit.
Probably a good idea to have an extra freezer plus backup generator for power outages!
Hi, Larry. Haven’t been following the news since Trump lost. Hope you and your dear wife are both doing well.
The post your looking for from me already happened.
Prepare. Already a bit too late.
She’s good.

Not sure what it’s too late to do? I’m inferring supply chain issues combined with transportation issues will lead to shortages of everything we need to live a civilized life. We can still stock up but maybe you’re thinking very big picture, sigh. Trump understood this in his bones. How I miss his leadership!
So you created a new twitter handle? I was banned by them for wrongthink and then after Biden was safely enscounced in the WH, I was reinstated!
Frankly, I don’t want to give them my business so rarely read there.
We live in “interesting times”, imho, the end of the Enlightenment. As a historian, you’d know this all too well.
