I think the “apparent” fact that she introduced her gun into the situation between her and the motorcyclist is ultimately going to weigh in against her.
I think that him shooting 8 times is going to weigh heavily against the motorcycle guy. Also, it looks like it might end up being a case where a white guy shoots a hispanic woman librarian 8 times!!! That’s not good in todays political/media world.
It will be an interesting case.

But if the witnesses are unknown to each other and the cyclist, then this seems like what happened.
Howeve I hope the police at least do some background investigations to confirm those claims

But they followed her home.
That was not necessary.
They were angry at her.
Rightfully or not….
Simply giving police her license and description and/or waiting for police from a safe distance from her home should have been sufficient.
In Florida it is against the law to openly reveal a pistol unless your life or property is being threatened.
Bad move by librarian, after bad move of road rage swerving into a biker. Either dumb not knowing law or outa-control with rage. She pulled a weapon on a man who appeared unarmed.
Any of these will get you dead.
Sara did not feel threatened or should would have waited inside her house for law enforcement to arrive.
Instead she came out of her house with a firearm. That is a double mistake. She then aimed the firearm at the victim and paid the price for her mistakes.
The overall circumstances, as presented at least, suggest schizophrenia or intoxication.

Folks ought to know better than to confront someone in a situation such as this.
A person is dead, another killed her, justified or not, those circumstances never cease to exist.
As stated in previous thread on this topic, even if the woman was the initial aggressor/cause of the traffic incident, she left. To follow her home AND confront her wasn’t necessary and as we can see, wise.
It is my opinion that she should have stayed inside her home, awaited the police and let that all shake out.
Also stated in the previous thread on this topic, there may certainly be more to follow as a thorough investigation ensues. It seems that the witnesses/traffic victim came on to her property, FL is a relatively sound state regarding SYG, castle doctrine etc., so there may be some detail regarding who was aggressing whom in the follow-on incident resulting in her death.
If I understand FL law correctly, it is not a crime to possess an open firearm on your own property. But to enter private property armed may be a crime, intent dependent.
We shall see.
