We came across Ferdinand Kuhn way before we came across his 1957 book, "The Story of the Secret Service."
Absent his Deep State bonafides, we would not have had the motivation to look at the book from the perspective of an assassination planner.
The book is written for kids age 10 to 14. Nevertheless, it does have some information about the Secret Service that was probably not well know to the public prior to the JFK Assassination.
The FBI file on Maria DeBlasio was assembled in Spring/Summer 1953 as part of the broad look at Communist infiltration within the US Government.
Ferdinand is listed by Maria as one of three references. In 1953, Maria had known Ferdinand about 9 years.
Maria DeBlasio had numerous connections to intelligence agencies. She worked for the OSS.
Her husband, Warren Wilhelm Sr. (aka Kingsley Wilhelm) and his brother George Wilhelm Jr. played a roll in the CIA’s 1953 Coup in Iran.
(George was commissioned by Richard M. Helms in 1961 to ghost write the memoirs of the Shah of Iran.)

I read that book about 1964. My mother died about a year ago at age 98, and I’m not sure what happened to it, but I’m pretty sure she still had it.
I used to love those Landmark Books.
Read every one I could get my hands on.
Instantly brought back memories of those wonderful volumes.

Did he get all buttered up?
!!
Wrong. It was I who killed JFK, 13 years before I was born. Chew on that for a moment.
Goodness knows she had enough reason.
And it would explain the cover-up.
The First Lady arranged to kill the president because he gave her an STD that killed their child? What Texas jury would convict her?
The report was given to President Johnson Sept. 24, 1964 and then to the public three days later.
Ferdinand Kuhn, request for copy of Warren Report - July 2, 1964.
