President Biden and first lady Jill Biden met with Coast Guard service members on Thursday during Thanksgiving in Nantucket, Mass.
"What am I thankful for? I'm not joking when I say I'm thankful for these guys," Biden said, according to CBS News.

Can’t help you with what slojoe might have been thinking of but we did, for instance, ship some Coastie Cutters to the Persian gulf back when we were holding Iraq. I remember our fleet supply ships re-fueling them at sea. To some degree they are still used for pirate patrols.
Curious to know who that lady was and what she put in his left hand as he walked out to meet the Coast Guard. Was it his ear piece or methamphetamine? Maybe a pocket sensor to let him know when he pooped his pants?
