If Ahmaud Arbery’s family doesn’t have peace, community won’t have peace, BLM protesters say.

Black Lives Matter protesters chanting "shut it down" if there isn't "justice" for Ahmaud Arbery told Fox News they will march peacefully if the men accused of murdering him are not convicted of all charges. "We just want them to do the right thing," Michael Harris from North Carolina said. Travis McMichael, 35, his father Greg McMichael, 65, and their neighbor William "Roddie" Bryan, 52, were charged with murder, aggravated assault and false imprisonment for the Feb. 23, 2020, fatal shooting of Arbery outside Brunswick, Georgia.

The facts of the case are irrelevant according to the mob. If the jury doesn’t do what the mob wants, there will be violence, burning, looting, etc. This is a clear case of intimidation and an attempt to influence the jury. I’m sick of mob rule and thugs getting away with threats and violence. God be with the jurors and their family - no matter what the outcome.

They will be convicted.....................

Not from justice, but from a desire to stop riots. This is not how the system is supposed to work, but this is all too often how it does work.

Separate from that, these three defendents need to be convicted and executed. What they did was abhorant.

People who say this are abhorrent. They did exactly what they should have done, and if that piece of sh*t had not attempted to assault a man with a shotgun, he would still be alive till some other person shot him to death for his criminal activity.

They may get convicted, but it won't be justice. It will be a show trial to prevent riots.

Attorney Andrew Branca has an interesting take on the case including facts that most of the public is completely unaware of but was presented during the trial.

If Ahmaud Arbery where white, it would be not guilty.

This I believe. Also, if Arbery were white, we wouldn't have so many freepers falling all over themselves in an effort to declare those guys guilty.

I think people are using this case to "virtue signal" about how non racist they are.

They think that by being vehement about declaring the McMichales guilty, this makes them appear to be non-racists.

Maybe to simpleminded folk. To me it makes them appear foolish.

If they wanted to follow, they could have done so more than a 100 yards behind and if they thought he was up to no good, they could have called the actual police.

The did call the police. And if they were following him, why does the video show him running towards them?

Also you get just about everything you said wrong. The guy with the shotgun was on the ground, the guy in the back of the truck had a pistol and was a retired cop himself.

You seem to be a very naïve person. Once perps break into my house, all bets are off. How do you know they just want to steal your TV? Read about The Wichita Horror, or that case in Connecticut where guys broke in, raped the wife and one daughter and killed all but the husband who escaped. You have no idea what kind of crackhead/methhead/evil person is in your house.

Some yes, some no. What they did was stupid, and I don’t even like black people.

Wrong. Only in extraordinary cases are juries allowed to rule on “right” vs law.
The KR trial jury ruled on law, and only that. His right to defend himself is enshrined in law. The US Const requires gov’mt to protect that human right.

Where a jury might decide outside the law that the defendant did the right thing is when the judge countermands them and issues a directed verdict.

Now, in the AArbury case some might say it was wrong to bring a gun. Why? Don’t people have a right to be armed and protect themselves? They had no idea that he was not armed , himself. But, if AA did not threaten, did not make it reasonable to shoot — then the shotgun guy deserves to go to jail.

Detaining a suspected burglar st gunpoint is reasonable. If said suspect goes for the gun, then what? If they’d shot him in the back as he ran away, I could understand your position. But I don’t think that they did.

My sentiments, exactly; well put.

Long past time to shoot the rioters, looters and arsonists.

It was murder, plain and simple. You’re right, they need execution if convicted.

Never shoulda introduced a shotgun into that situation.

Why not? Arbury might have been armed.

A sentient jury will convict them; they’re guilty as hell.

The jury needs to do what’s right, not acquiesce to any “demands”.
