Veteran journalist and commentator Brit Hume said it is a “far cry from certain” that President Joe Biden will run for reelection in 2024, and added that, health-wise, Biden is “clearly deteriorating, he’s clearly senile.”
On Monday’s Special Report w/Brett Baier, Hume was asked about Biden’s comment that he plans to run again in 2024.
“I don’t think it’s at all clear that he intends to run again, but I do think that as a political matter, you have to say that,” replied Hume.
Because if you suggest or hint or outright say that you’re not going to run again, that makes you instantly a lame duck,” he added. “Lame duck presidents don’t do well, their influence wanes overnight. So I think this was boilerplate in a sense, but boiler plate that had to be uttered.”
Hume continued, “I think it’s a far cry from certain he’ll run again or that he’ll be in any condition to. I think the thing we have to watch is the question of whether he serves out his first term.”
“He’s clearly deteriorating, he’s clearly senile, and his health is -- despite his doctor’s comments to the contrary,” said Hume. “When you’re falling down stairs and so on, as he did climbing the stairs to Air Force One, that’s worrisome.”

OK Hume if Biden’s senility is so apparent then why would you not be calling for him to be replaced under the 25th Amendment? This country or any country cannot afford to have a senile President and Commander in Chief. It is also obvious that Joe is too senile to make any decisions, so Hume who is in fact running the country? Hume’s commentary is a joke if he can easily draw the conclusion Biden is senile, but fails to recognize the danger to the country with a leader so cognitively impaired.
Folks on here are delusional. Brit has always been a conservative. He was beloved by Reagan. There’s nothing remotely liberal about the man & has been critical of Biden from the start. People need to let petty crap go! We cant put together a majoritywith this mentality! 🙄

I noticed Biden’s mental issues during the lead up to the election. Liberals are too stubborn and proud to admit they knew the same but voted for him anyway.
I wonder why so many media outlets:that seem to be on our side use horrible pictures of Trump. He speaks with great vigor and articulation (unlike the botoxed frozen faces) so it is easy to get a photo of him from a video where he is squinting, making a fish mouth while saying “who”, etc. Trump can also look very professional and in command. It is a mystery to me.
Has a single person in the media asked Jen Psaki who is actually running the country? Who is making the decisions? Who tells Biden he’s not supposed to take any questions?
Soon to be a qualification to hold the office. Must be senile. The more, the better.
