Veteran journalist and commentator Brit Hume said it is a “far cry from certain” that President Joe Biden will run for reelection in 2024, and added that, health-wise, Biden is “clearly deteriorating, he’s clearly senile.”
On Monday’s Special Report w/Brett Baier, Hume was asked about Biden’s comment that he plans to run again in 2024.
“I don’t think it’s at all clear that he intends to run again, but I do think that as a political matter, you have to say that,” replied Hume.
Because if you suggest or hint or outright say that you’re not going to run again, that makes you instantly a lame duck,” he added. “Lame duck presidents don’t do well, their influence wanes overnight. So I think this was boilerplate in a sense, but boiler plate that had to be uttered.”
Hume continued, “I think it’s a far cry from certain he’ll run again or that he’ll be in any condition to. I think the thing we have to watch is the question of whether he serves out his first term.”
“He’s clearly deteriorating, he’s clearly senile, and his health is -- despite his doctor’s comments to the contrary,” said Hume. “When you’re falling down stairs and so on, as he did climbing the stairs to Air Force One, that’s worrisome.”

Buttjig would be horrible but not the worst, let’s just hope we don’t end up in a situation where the VP is open and people start talking about Moochele...they’ve got the votes to do it. It only takes a simple majority in both houses of congress and no Democrat would dare vote against her. (And a lot of Repubs would join them)
The only talking head at Fox that I ever thought was worth a chit was Tony Snow.
Brit always looked out for his own interests and decided to dump on President Trump. He’s smart enough to know surrendering our country to the Socialist Dems was not a good move.
