A car ran through the middle of the Waukesha Christmas Parade Sunday evening, leaving multiple people injuries, according to a reporter on scene.
Multiple people are on the ground injured, the reporter tweeted around 4:40 p.m.
There is a heavy police presence downtown.
The parade runs through the downtown area of Waukesha.

Based on the pictures of the front end of that car, the air bags should have deployed.
Air bags deploy and then deflate.
Someone else posted that there was a trailing vehicle in the center of the road between the group of girls with flags and the next group (a band?). If so, that is possibly why the vehicle appeared to be on the right side of the road going around the gals with flags.
Horrible.

I condemn the entire force to more time at the range.
I read earlier in the thread that the area often has scattered power outages because of the winds. I don’t know if that’s the case here, but it could be just a coincidence.

I think it’s almost impossible to drive if your airbags have deployed. I don’t know if hitting people was enough to make them deploy, but the front of the car certainly looks like they should have.
Locals should make a statement and refuse their “help.”
“With the power out, people are going to have a quick trigger finger when they hear a noise or see someone they don’t know. If it is a deliberate power outage, that is a questionable move.”

Nah, they think they are in a certain neighborhood, with the power out, you can use the thermal imaging cameras and locate every body in the area.
Sometimes they don’t deploy. We were rear-ended pretty powerfully once. No airbag action.
The clip I saw looked like the vehicle hardly slowed at all.
It appears to be a police band. The marchers on the right side are carrying tubas that obstruct the view down road. The driver only drives in the middle when he can see down the road.
Bingo. I noticed the FBI always sticking their noses in more and more with local issues during Obama.
