It was Cheech’s stash for his own personal use.
Yep. Half a billion dollars directly into the state’s and county’s treasury.
So you lived in White City, DFW? Still own any warehouses (ha, ha)??
$1,000 a pound is $62.50 an ounce. Sign me up for some.
They shouldn’t put all their eggs in one basket.
And if they didn’t, that means there’s still millions of pounds of ganga hidden somewhere.
Somebody didn’t pay the right people.
They found Hunter’s stash.
After all, the stuff is legal there.
So we waste taxpayer dollars to get illegal weed off the street so they can sell legal weed?
BINGO!
But 500K now that's some serious bud.
Now that it's legal the "regulators" want their tax and the big guy needs his 10%.
“Several of the individuals were migrant workers living on-site in subpar living conditions without running water.”
So a pot farm with no running water.......how do you do that?
We are in Washington. We now have approximately $2 Billion a year in legal marijuana sales which is much more than both alcohol, and tobacco combined. But the taxes are so high that illegal marijuana outsells legal in most places in the state. Obviously this $500,000,000 marijuana bust indicates that Oregon has the same situation. Every day we smell the strong skunk like smell of marijuana while driving, in our neighborhood and just about every where we go. You can’t burn $4 Billion a year in marijuana without creating a stench at just about every location everywhere.
You would think that mostly younger people were responsible for the stench, but when we pass a car that has been stinking up our car, just as often as not the driver and passengers are middle aged or beyond.
White City isn’t that racist name?
I doubt it’s that cheap, Remember what the value of a dollar is now.
Awww nawww
In the 70s many police were caught in Florida taking the weed to the incinerator, unloading the truck into unmarked vans and carting it off sayingbits burned..
Awww naww,
