CHICAGO, Illinois — Black Lives Matter activist Troy Gaston told Breitbart News that the federal government should file murder charges against Kyle Rittenhouse. Gaston’s comments to Breitbart followed a speech at a “Stop White Supremacy!” rally in Chicago on Saturday.

On stage, Gaston told the assembled protesters that the acquittal in the Kyle Rittenhouse case sent a message “telling us to be silent under the threat of complete violence.”

Well if the murder occurs on federal government property like a national park or a post office there is a ‘federal murder charge’. I believe it is now against federal law to kill the President. It wasn’t in 1963 when Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas. Back then Oswald was facing state charges.

Agreed. Of course, they know that their best shot is at the state level, which is why you see so much federal meddling, er, "assistance" in these cases in the courts of original jurisdiction.
