Fox News host Tucker Carlson joined my radio program this week, and he had a lot to say on an array of subjects. We discussed the ratings success of his show and his methodology for preparing each episode (he shuts out social media, but is in touch with a large network of friends and sources via text). The topic of Carlson's self-identified flaws arose in the context of how he feels about his haters, especially those who toil endlessly to get him fired or forced off the air. In response to an outrageous anti-Fox smear from a progressive MSNBC opinion host, Carlson dropped the hammer:

I also asked him about a new poll showing that a plurality of Americans do not believe President Biden has the mental fitness for the job. What Carlson revealed in response is noteworthy:
I know a bunch of members of his family and some a couple of them very well. And I knew for a fact that certain members of the family were very concerned about his cognitive ability. They didn’t expect him to get the nomination. Nobody did. And he got it and they were freaked out about it. That’s...I’m not speculating. I know that for a fact. So I knew that the family believed he was in cognitive decline. So there’s that and that’s news. That’s news.

Yes, at least one of Tucker’s Biden family contacts is Hunter. Remember when conservatives coast to coast were going gaga over the laptop scandal, Tucker made a point of saying he’d remain above the fray, refusing to criticize Hunter, because they were good friends. Speaking of Tucker Carlson, has that “emergency back surgery” ever been explained? It struck me as rather odd.

The Deep State wanted to defeat Donald Trump and Barack Obama wanted his third term in office!

The saddest part of the equation is the betrayals done by the “Never Trumpers,” the RINOs, VP Pence and the Georgia Governor and Secretary of State.
I remember Bill O’Reilly said on Sean Hannity’s radio show at the beginning of the Primary that the donors wanted Biden instead of someone like Bernie, and he predicted Biden would win it. Lorne Michaels and his show SNL are hypocrites for not doing parodies of Biden.

I DID hear him refer to it during the process. He did not give a clinical diagnosis... just offered inferences that were pretty clear to me... dementia Joe was on his menu...
That was part of the plan, not an anomaly.
One of BO's chief virtues was that he was lazy, playing golf, taking 5 star hotel vacations and otherwise enjoying the perks of the office.
The deep state needed a figurehead they could totally control and nobody fit that resume better than Joe Xiden.

Why wasn’t something done about voter fraud— in a BIG way?
Tucker, Hannity, Laura all get paid a lot of money to do a TV show. They get paid based on ratings. I suspect that Fox News has higher ratings when they are the opposition to the Democrats. They became a factor when Clinton was POTUS. O’Rielly was the top rated cable news show because he was the only MSM person to show what a scum bag Ol Billy was.
I believe Hannity when questioned about whether the election had been stolen made a statement that there was no money in it to report on that.
Laura got a brand new contract just prior to the election. She was the first Fox personality to say to Trump it was time to concede after the election.
Tucker has been in DC his whole life. He knows lots of people both on the left and right. However, he is still just an entertainer.
Most people tend to do what is best for their own personal wallet. People on TV are no different.
The Left appreciates any assistance here to remove him from the airways and internet. They hate his guts.

I visited some friends a couple of times this week. They have fox news on all the time. I haven't watched it for years but I was struck by the fact that they had most of the talking points we pick up everyday on FR. Between Watters, Hannity and Tucker, I think Fox is a good source For those who are not political junkies like most of us here.

2. He is utterly controllable in terms of policy. He can’t fight you, he hasn’t the intellect anymore, and he certainly doesn’t have the energy (and, to be fair, few people of that age do - it isn’t specific or unique to him). All that they have to do is space out and tightly control his public appearances, and the chance for disaster is minimized.
Of course, as everyone can readily see (especially our foreign enemies and rivals), he’s but a shadow of his former self (which was no great shakes, even on the best day of his life), and utterly unfit to have the authority or responsibility of POTUS. I shudder to think what would happen if NORAD picked up a few dozen Chinese, or a few hundred Russian, missiles headed our way from known nuclear missile sites - what, you’re gonna wake up a dementia-ridden, 79-year-old (as of tomorrow) man in the middle of the night and expect him to do anything productive to minimize the damage and help us win that war? BS - it’d be hard enough for a 50-year-old guy at the top of his game, being given that news in the middle of the day. This one possible scenario is what makes me utter despise, with every fiber of my being, those who acted to, or sat by and allowed (hello, Jill Biden!), this guy to be nominated, let alone assume the office. They placed every single one of us at extreme risk - much more so than at any time, including the worst moments of the Cold War...and that extreme vulnerability will not end until 1/20/25 (and that idiotic hyena of a VP is at least as bad). Damn, at least the Deep State could have had someone on the ball (even if a liberal/Leftist) as VP, ready to take over at a moment’s notice...but so intense is their desire to utterly rule over this country that they simply do not care. May they all rot in Hell, whether or not anything as horrendous as a nuclear attack on this nation occurs.

CornPop was selected. Bernie was bought off, again. Although with what we’re learning about the latest monstrosity passed in the House, he’s getting pretty much everything he wants.
Donald Trump, thank the Lord that he is/was wealthy enough that he didn’t need the RNC, was the only candidate that the people actually chose, probably since Reagan. Pretty much, almost every level, we’re forced to vote for who they, the GOP apparatus/donors/etc, want us to pick.
At the local level, folks will pick their friends or a friend of a friend because they’re a good guy/gal. It won’t matter that that very same person is planning on selling out everyone in the city or county to any and every developer on the planet and will have no problems raising peoples taxes through the roof. That’s my friend.
We’ve allowed ourselves to be participants in a crappy game, for a long time. Might be too late.
