The whole idea behind Pulitzer and its prizes is activist journalism, not accurate journalism. Let them boast of their inaccuracies while the informed citizens flee and mock.
The Washington Post’s reputation as a paper with courageous reporter/investigator as shattered a few years ago when Mark Felt, “Deep Throat”, revealed himself and explained how he handed all the Watergate stories to Bernstein and Woodward on a silver platter.
No “tough investigator”, just Deep State partners in obfuscating the truth.
