The elites love ‘Succession,’ but Trump-world-set ‘Yellowstone’ is TV’s most addictive show

I have never watched either, but maybe I'll check out Yellowstone.

I don’t watch anything new because most new stuff is woke. Is this show not woke?

Yellowstone is awesome. Just hope they aren’t forced to go PC like the last seasonss of “24” and “Homeland” did.

Should I take him to the bus station or the train station?

There has not been one man calling another man his husband.
That’s my litmus test.

Worth it. Worth it. Worth it!
The wife and I are letting the new season queue up in the dvr a bit so we can binge when we're ready and not have to wait a week between episodes.
If you've never watched at all, you're golden! Make some nachos, put a fire in the fireplace, and binge away!

No, this show has ‘woke’ elements. However, the brutality and finality seem to anchor the show more into a timeless circumstance wherein the ‘woke’ isn’t as noticeable.
It may be a little woke, but it’s the best series around.

There has not been one man calling another man his husband. That is always a plus!

I hate “gather round the tv every Wed at 8pm” tv. Its so 1950’s. Have to figure out how to record this and start watching.

Not in my opinion. Think "Sopranos West". That's the way I'd sort of boil it down. Perhaps I missed and can't recall a "woke" reference here or there. But I don't recall many, if any.

Yellowstone is good but is very predictable.

Don’t start watching season 4 until you watch 1-3.

My sister told us about it. I bought season 1 & 2, my husband and I got barely through episode 2 of season 1 and have not watched it since....... I guess we need to give it another try. Everyone is going on about how good it is. We were not seeing it. Found it boring
To: Rummyfan
Make sure you get past the first episode of season one. My wife and I turned it off midway through, but we went back about six months later after hearing some churn about it. Glad we did, haven’t missed an episode since. It’s a good hour to just get lost in a program and it’s characters. You’ll either love it, or hate it...

“There’s no way to stream a new episode right after it airs.”
I don’;t know about this. It seems there are multiple ways to watch past episodes.
To: Rummyfan
The first episode was 'forced' upon me, Ms Magnum, and about 8,000 others as a substitute for an opening band for a Lady Antebellum concert two years ago. Was expecting an opening band and got almost two hours of pretty dull Kevin Costner instead. The audience was really pissed by the time the band actually began to play.
What we had to endure that evening did not give me any incentive to watch further. Boring drama. But maybe it got better later on???

Absolutely! In previous seasons, Hulu Live did NOT have the Paramount network, so we had to find some creative ways to stream it. Hulu has it now, so I was able to set the current season to DVR.
It's always fun to discover a show about three or four seasons late. It allows you to binge at your pace and not have to forget what happened a week ago.
