vetting,
chain of custody documentation,
source identification,
hardware specs,
witness testimony to the above?.

Yes, that instruction is typical, but impossible to follow when even the President of the United States has stayed in the racist camp, without any explanation whatever. With social media, this safeguard instruction is an anachronism.

Not introduced as evidence. Had it been available, defense could have used it to bolster its case, as the ‘provocation’ image is probably clear enough to debunk that Kyle pointed his rifle first.
