Taiwan was under a spotlight during a three-hour virtual meeting between Chinese President Xi Jinping and US President Joe Biden on Tuesday, China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
Biden said the United States remained committed to the “one China” policy but strongly opposed unilateral efforts to change the status quo or undermine peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait.
Xi said Chinese unification was the common wish for all Chinese people while mainland China would remain patient to achieve peaceful reunification with Taiwan. Xi added that Beijing would take decisive actions if Taiwan independence powers crossed the so-called red line.
He said US people who tried to use the Taiwan issue to suppress China were playing with fire and would burn themselves.
Biden also raised concerns about China’s practices in Xinjiang, Tibet and Hong Kong, as well as human rights issues, but Xi reiterated that the US should not intervene in China’s internal affairs.
State-owned China Central Television (CCTV) said they discussed Taiwan, democracy and human rights, trade, energy safety, climate change, public health issues and exchanged views about the situations in Afghanistan, Iran and the Korean peninsula.
Beijing described the meeting as “candid, constructive, substantive and productive” while the White House said Biden welcomed the opportunity to speak candidly and straightforwardly to Xi about US intentions and priorities across a range of issues.
Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Xie Feng was interviewed by state media after the meeting. Xie said the content of the meeting could be concluded as “3421,” which refers to three principles, four priorities, two areas of consensus and one important question in the China-US relations.

Remember, Obama chose Biden because of his experience in foreign affairs. So far, he’s managed to tick everyone off except the Pope.
It means fu Taiwan, you’re not a country or better not try to be acknowledged as one.

Today Biden says its up to Taiwan to choose independence - exact opposite of yesterday.
Let's go Brandon. How about you stand up for self-determination - it is up to the Taiwanese people to decide their political alignment. Oh, yeah, I see, self-determination leads to populism which leads to Trump and we know that Trump is the biggest threat to totalitarians such as Xi and the central committee that pulls Brandon's strings.
Then Hunter could be Secretary of State. They said police woke him up once in a cheap motel with an Asian girlfriend and a bag of cocaine and some cash.

Does the media think Xi crawled back meekly after the remote virtual confab and told his aides: “I knuckled under. We’re withdrawing as of right now. Talk about an alpha male, that Biden could crush Mike Tyson with one hand while he kicked a Mafia boss in the rear with his foot. I don’t want to face him again. I need a little time to retreat and regroup.”
One China was a stupid policy and should never have been embraced.

Just yesterday we heard that they were “fixing the supply chain issue” (aka the inevitable consequences of govt interference with markets) with a zoom call.

Xi got exactly what he wanted: Joe gets nothing.
The bottom line--despite all of the diplo-speak BS--is that the "People's Republic of China" has NEVER renounced the use of force against Taiwan.
XI tells Biteme to stay out of their internal issues….so, why the hell didn’t Biteme say the same to Xi about US elections and sending their bio weapon Wuhan flu to the entire world?
What we really need is the true conversation and as soon as Pjen Psaki gives it to us, we can all be reassured.
OH, that Pjen, (sigh) she is some miracle worker, ain’t she.
Without her to explain the inner workings of a crazy person’s mind...we would be lost.

In his delirium, Biden may be the first POTUS who calls for Taiwan independence every few days. One of the few things he may do right, but his handlers walk it back every time (just as any White House would do in the past).
Because Biteme is an incredibly weak p-resident. He's afraid of Xi, and XI knows it.
