The urgency to vaccinate children comes as COVID-19 hospitalizations have started to increase in parts of California. Health officials have long expected that uptick as the weather cools and more people gather indoors.
“Unfortunately, what we were predicting, as people go indoors — that [hospitalization] rates may go up — was actually a reality,” said Dr. Regina Chinsio-Kwong, a deputy health officer in Orange County. “And even though we do have good vaccination rates, we need more people who are not yet vaccinated to get vaccinated.”
The U.K.’s challenges demonstrate how its overall vaccination efforts — while better than California’s — are still not high enough for herd immunity, when sustained coronavirus transmission is interrupted.
In the U.K., 67% of the population is fully vaccinated, according to Our World in Data; California has 62% of its population fully vaccinated. Across the U.S., that rate is 59%, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Children and teenagers have become major sources of coronavirus infection in Los Angeles and Orange counties.

I can see why the Democrats are concerned... in a short period of time 99.99% of those infected will be over it and then they will be blessed with naturally immunity. It is important that they screw up the immune systems of children with the shots so that they can keep the nonsense going. They now need to stretch it out at least until the midterms.

Clearly, California needs more unvaccinated, untested people crossing the border. And pack their children in our schools. That’s how you get over a pandemic. /s
This crazy insistence on “vaccinating” children, who are more likely to die from a lightning strike or from complications caused by the “vaccines,” reeks of something diabolical. Enough of this insanity now!
His biggest concern is that the spike protein has the potential to enter the nucleus and affect the DNA replication process. Not good if true.
And it may take years before we know for certain that it is not an issue. Apparently, when the vaccine was designed it used the whole spike protein instead of the small section that interacts with the cell membrane. The small piece spike protein is sufficient.
We really don’t know long term safety.
I suspect that notavax is actually less than useless.
They’re losing the narrative and they see it coming.
We have a chance to reform our government back to a “for the people” republic designed to disallow career politicians, ensure freedom, and provide equal justice under the law.
Vote for the conservative, freedom-loving candidates for 2022. All others are tyrants and should be voted out.
Then, we get to work de-funding the FBI, cutting spending, and growing the economy through capitalist protection.
No longer will we allow mega corporatism to influence government and enjoy monopolies that curb free access and free speech.

We did things a little different here in rural MO. We let the kids go back to school last Fall, mask free, no distancing, no plastic cubicles. Hardly any adults were wearing masks by then. Then they got to hang out all Summer and go back to school this Fall. Pretty sure they have natural herd immunity by now. Our two bumps in cases have been in the Fall of 2020 and Fall 2021.
It’s always those unvaxxed little miscreants. 💉🐂💨💩
The one sure thing about the vax? It doesn’t protect you from contracting the illness. We have mandate hesitancy. Folks who wish/choose to get vaxxed, have at it. Those who don’t, LUTFA!

The propaganda arrives, right on time. Despite it’s 67% vax rate, the UK is entering the SIXTH month of its “surge,” which began in early June, with only minor ups and downs. If only 25% of the unvaccinated Brits have natural immunity, their overall immunity should be about 75%, which we were told should support herd immunity. If the vaccines were working as intended, they wouldn’t still be seeing such high rates of infection.
The Covid vaccine and boosters are the only product in the world whose failure is blamed on those who haven’t taken it.

This whole thing is so much like a cult it is scary. Along with the “drink the koolaid” peer pressure. I wonder how many people during the Jim Jones mass suicide didn't want to drink the koolaid but were forced.
