We did things a little different here in rural MO. We let the kids go back to school last Fall, mask free, no distancing, no plastic cubicles. Hardly any adults were wearing masks by then. Then they got to hang out all Summer and go back to school this Fall. Pretty sure they have natural herd immunity by now. Our two bumps in cases have been in the Fall of 2020 and Fall 2021.

If only 25% of the unvaccinated Brits have natural immunity, their overall immunity should be about 75%, which we were told should support herd immunity. If the vaccines were working as intended, they wouldn’t still be seeing such high rates of infection.

2. How can herd immunity ever be achieved by a population whose only defense is a vaccine that confers no "immunity"?
3. How does injecting children with a "vaccine" that does not stop infection nor transmission protect the so-called "vaccinated" adults from contracting, developing infection and transmitting the target pathogen ... unless the so-called "vaccine" is not a vaccine at all, but is either a miserable failure or has other, formally undisclosed purposes?

The UK should be a “warning” to California? Really? Shouldn’t Florida, the state with the lowest new case rate (I.e., rate per 100,000 population), serve as a model of success. Schools & businesses open WITH NO COVID-19 MANDATES have, IMHO, resulted in massive natural immunity in Florida. My suspicion is that the great majority of Florida schoolchildren have been exposed to the COVID-19 virus and have developed natural immunity (mostly with minimum or no symptoms). Their acquired natural immunity will serve both them and their community now and perhaps years into the future.
The CDC has NOT found a single case of a person who has recovered from COVID-19 with natural immunity EVER being able, in ANY circumstance, to infect another person with the COVID-19 virus. This means that not a single case, not one, in our ENTIRE COUNTRY has been found! This mass of Florida schoolchildren with natural immunity combined with the large mass of older Floridians with natural immunity provide an IMPENETRABLE and widespread BULWARK against spread of this disease in Florida.
Mass vaccination of schoolchildren was not needed in Florida and is not needed in California or other states. Individual schoolchildren can be vaccinated solely at their parents’ choice.
