NO ONE can legislate Christianity. It is, by definition, a belief one MUST CHOOSE. And yes, if the large majority of Americans - or even a significant minority - CHOSE to repent and become Christians, the USA would be a vastly better place.
Not likely to happen, but a significantly Christian population would make this a really nice country. And maybe that is all he is saying. I know almost nothing about Flynn or his beliefs, but there is no such thing as compulsory, REAL Christianity.
Since almost all “Chaplains” are Unitarians and are required to serve many different faiths and even those without faith, does this then stereotype all Chaplains as atheist non-believer devil worshipers?

There are all kinds of people ... anyone can call themselves Christian... their lives show if they are.
If obama can say this is not a Christian nation, I can say it is. The founding fathers sought direction from God .. and the fact we have been the greatest nation, “in God We Trust”. Take that out of everything and you will have what we have today... the corruption and rebellion has brought us problems that seem unsolvable.
I don’t make God’s law and you don’t make God’s law. We either follow God’s son or we don’t. There is no other “other”.
To reject the only way to keep our country, brings on the destruction. To put leaders in charge that have only their own greed and power at stake, you won’t have a thing... and our freedoms are being tested every day.
Whether you want to call it or not... whether you want to believe it or not...this is a war of good vs evil. ..
spiritual.. and it will end when Jesus decides it’s tome to return.
You can see the evil at work in our government. They imprisoned citizens who objected to what was going on and today they are in prison and have no way to get out.. while the ones who put them there are guilty of crimes that go unchecked.
They are talking about things that would take our freedoms .. we would be subjects to the government that turned on us. It’s happened before in other countries.. never thought it would happen to the United States.

The problem is Flynn has linked himself to Trump but nothing he says ever comes true.

We were founded as a Christian nation that accepted other faiths and I feel certain that is what Flynn is talking about.
It was certainly a foolish comment, but I don’t think Flynn, a Roman Catholic, was calling for a single established church or that Josh Mandel, who tweeted his approval of Flynn’s remarks, has such an idea in mind.
I have no doubt that you do.
