BUTLER, Pennsylvania — A longtime nanny to Pennsylvania Republican Sean Parnell’s three children testified on Tuesday that she had never witnessed Parnell abuse his children, an allegation Parnell’s wife leveled against him last week as part of a bitter custody battle.
Lori McGoogan said under oath during the final day of custody hearings at the Butler County Courthouse that she has provided child care for the children for about a decade — including in-home care starting about five years ago, overnight care, and completion of household tasks like laundry and dinner preparation — and that she never witnessed Parnell become unreasonable with his children.

Such accusation are the usual in divorce cases now. They mean nothing.
Just who do think suburban women will believe. He’s toast. Already lost to Lamb once. Get someone else.

Parnell only lost to Lamb due to a gerrymandered new district.
You are totally off base, and this guy has a future in politics.
He loses so he should aim for higher office. I’m sure it’s been done before but the suburban housewife will look at him next to Lamb and decide based on which one is prettier. Perhaps we’ll get lucky and our nominee rides the crest of a GOP wave election. He’d be my top choice but be realistic. I’ll wait for Trump’s endorsement.
Will the suburban housewife take believe the words of a nanny in the courtroom? They will more likely scoff at the one who has the money for a nanny.
The ex-wife convinced a girlfriend of the daughter to accuse Andy of molesting her and he was subsequently arrested.
Eventually it was discovered the girl had lied but not till his reputation had been destroyed.
Funny how these abuse accusations are only leveled after the woman decides to divorce and then sees a lawyer. Very interesting.
