Inflation Hits Another Three Decade High! Biden Gets a Harsh Reality Check: Inflation is a Tax Hike and Breaks His Promise
Townhall ^ | 11/10/2021 | Katie Pavlich

During the 2020 presidential election, Joe Biden promised not to raise taxes on anyone making less than $400,000. He vowed to stand up for the working class and to protect the paychecks of everyday Americans.

"Nobody making under 400,000 bucks would have their taxes raised, period, bingo,” Biden said in May 2020.

But Biden's economic policies as president, which have led to rampant, runaway inflation on items Americans use every day, have broken that promise.

Inflation Just Hit Another New, Three Decade High

Americans for Tax Reform has a breakdown of price increases:

Gasoline has increased 49.6% in the past 12 months, 6.1% in October alone.

Used cars and trucks have increased 26.4% in the past 12 months.

Meats, poultry, and eggs have increased 11.9% in the past 12 months.

Beef has increased 20.1% in the past 12 months.

Bacon has increased 20.2% in the past 12 months.

Fresh fish and seafood have increased 11.0% in the past 12 months.

Furniture and bedding have increased 12.0% in the past 12 months.

Bread and crackers have increased 7.5% in the past 12 months.

TVs have increased 10.4% in the past 12 months.

Inflation is a tax that affects everyone, which is why polling shows the vast majority of Americans are concerned.

Inflation is now at 6.2%, which represents a huge tax increase on the working class. Joe Biden is a much worse version of Jimmy Carter & the idea that the government spending trillions more is going to make inflation lower, which is what they are arguing, is absolute insanity.— Clay Travis (@ClayTravis) November 10, 2021

By all accounts, the threat posed by record inflation to the American people is not “transitory” and is instead getting worse. From the grocery store to the gas pump, Americans know the inflation tax is real and DC can no longer ignore the economic pain Americans feel every day.— Senator Joe Manchin (@Sen_JoeManchin) November 10, 2021

Inflation is going to DESTROY the middle class, and it’s up over 8% from this point last year. This is a TAX that hurts working families the most. What’s Biden doing about it? NOTHING! He doesn’t care about working class people - he only cares about his radical WOKE agenda.— Ronny Jackson (@RonnyJacksonTX) November 9, 2021

The 8%plus jump in producer prices is a warning to the Biden Administration and the Congressional Democrats that they are playing with fire in passing more big spending bills which will drive inflation even higher. Every American feels the higher prices as a Biden inflation tax.— Newt Gingrich (@newtgingrich) November 9, 2021

Inflation is a tax hike and a pay cut at the same time.— Senator Michael Rulli (@michaelrulli) November 1, 2021

Inflation is costing American households an extra $175 a month.

This is a tax on hard-working families.

The White House has continually argued current inflation is "transitory" and a "high class" problem.

And these idiots do not even understand the problem.

Economics 101

What Is Demand-Pull Inflation? Demand-pull inflation is the upward pressure on prices that follows a shortage in supply, a condition that economists describe as "too many dollars chasing too few goods."

KEY TAKEAWAYS

When demand surpasses supply, higher prices are the result. This is demand-pull inflation.

Increased government spending is good for the economy, too, but it can lead to scarcity in some goods and inflation will follow.

No matter what he does and no matter what the consequences, there is no such thing as a reality check for Joe Biden. Even in his younger days when he might still have had a memory and known what he was doing, he fabricated his own reality, lied through his teeth about everything, and operated outside the norms of decency. “Reality checking” is not a Biden thing. You know, “the thing.”

Team Biden and his COUP masterminds are using FEAR (Pandemic) UNCERTAINTY and DESPERATION (food/gas price increases and supply shortages) as a TOOL to force people into SEEKING GOV'T HELP.

ALL intentional. COMMUNISM 101.

Wake up, FReepers. THIS ISN'T ABOUT TEAM BIDEN NOT UNDERSTANDING HOW THINGS WORK. THIS IS 100% INTENTIONAL, AIMED AT THE "BUILD BACK BETTER" SOCIALIST, COMMUNIST, CORPORATE FASCISM RESET.

ARREST THESE SABOTEURS, NOW.

I thought democrats opposed a flat tax! Inflation caused by the printing of funny money is a flat tax that hurts everyone’s dollar equally from Elon Musk to Daphne the minimum wage waitress. The difference is that Elon can take it and not get kicked out of his home or go without basic necessities.

Social-narrative economics only works when the facts are well-behaved.

Democratic Party policy is completely driven by emotionally appealing narratives.

Comfort the afflicted.

Afflict the comfortable.

Failure and crime are probably due to biased adverse stereotypes.

Success and stable relationships are probably due to privilege and luck.

Sacrifice and responsibility are unrelated to success, and are generally called for only by outdated traditional role limitations.

This post is about inflation, a surprising fact only if you believe the narratives and can’t really bring facts and history to mind.

The Taliban surprised the administration. Parent involvement surprised them. The border breakdown surprised them. All because they simply couldn’t get obvious historical and practical facts into minds that saw a world driven by the forces portrayed in their narratives.

The commentary by media and political figures, show us great examples of this mechanism at work. People with status and credentials in the narrative-thought world claimed that racism narrative mechanisms governed the recent election cycle. Compassion-for-the-afflicted narratives require inaction at the Mexican border. Outdated parental prejudice drives parents to challenge school boards.

Narrative thinkers are just not ever effective for very long. History and facts disrupt narrative expectations.

This post is about inflation, but really it is pretty much the same in content to all the other posts about stupid stuff by Democratic elite leadership.

They think one way. It is the way they think and therefore the way they are. The pattern of results is gonna be same way forever.

There has been no shortage of supply of gasoline nor food.

This is pure-D normal Democrat induced inflation: too much (free) money chasing too few goods and services.

And, the Government of Brandon reduced supply of gasoline by:
- killing Keystone pipeline
- shutting off drilling permits and federal oil & gas leasing
- discouraging oil and gas industry activity
What did they expect? Gasoline to get cheaper?

Oh and the Brandon Totalitarian Communist Marxist middle east energy policy is to poke all the producers in the eye every chance they get. Especially Saudis. How’s that workin out for ya, Brandon?

Should be self-evident. Even to the "genius" who abandoned Afghanistan.
