Car break-ins have gotten so out of hand in San Francisco that tourists are being warned not to rent cars.
Even with a police crackdown and rewards being offered the surge in smash-and-grab vehicle burglaries continues to rise, especially in city’s favorite tourist destinations.

Simple solution: put snipers on roof tops. I predict problem ends with less than two boxes of ammo used.

Pay the citizens to bring the criminals in dead or alive. $1,000 per head will stop crime quickly. You will have citizens actively engaged.
I'd feel safer at a Cosa Nostra meeting in Sicily. I'd be eating a lot better too.

No decent, rational person would voluntarily live, start a business or try to raise a family in Democratic controlled urban areas such as San Francisco. Its a complete lunatic zone.
Being San Francisco don’t they have to show proof of vaccination before breaking into your car?

I guarantee, if you intervene, you will be the one arrested. And if you are harmed by these butt wipes when you do interfere, nothing will happen to them. No one tries to stop any crime there or anywhere in the bay area.

A friend mentioned that to put a loaded laptop on the front seat and when they smash and grab it and go off to turn it on, bad things happen. Just saying.
I have to tell you, I would be very tempted to jump in their running car and take off. Go into some parking structure and hide it. I’m certain if I called the police after taking the car, I would be arrested.
Tourists should be warned to not visit that lawless hellhole at all.

I worked in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago, you might collect a hundred parking tickets in an afternoon or a queer may ask for a date; other than then that was very safe. (before the current mayor)
A friend stopped by for lunch, parked on a major road... and comes across a guy peering into cars and smashing windows and grabbing stuff!!
He calls the cops, about 25 people observing, he moved his BMW over a block. What else can you do?
In the years I was there only one memorable car event.
They found a guy sleeping in their car on a cold winter afternoon.
