NEW YORK (AP) — A government advisory committee on Wednesday recommended that all U.S. adults younger than 60 be vaccinated against hepatitis B, because progress against the liver-damaging disease has stalled.

The decision means that tens of millions of U.S. adults — mostly between the ages of 30 and 59 — would be advised to get shots. Hepatitis B vaccinations became standard for children in 1991, meaning most adults younger that 30 already are protected.

You are suggesting there is no such thing as free will; however, according to scripture, a lot of people will not submit to the mark of the beast and even accept the death penalty rather than take it. Those who CHOOSE to take the mark will face some severe punishments and ultimately end up in the lake of fire. If people could not help but take it, but meekly and blindly accept the mark, God would not judge so harshly.

Yep, just another effort to cast the normal general population in the same risk category as homosexuals and other sexual deviants, just to take the spotlight off the sexual deviants. Remember the "AIDS is everyone's problem" campaign? This is just more of the same.

Hep b is needed because it is common among homosexual men and it is “homophobic” to suggest that homosexual men get Hep B shots or that some disease is peculiar mostly to homosexuals. Remember they once wrung their hands and cried out that AIDS/HIV was a scourge of humanity entire and billions and billions had to be spent to save humanity from AIDS.

Working as a BioMed I was tested annually for Hep A and B. I have the antibodies for both. I contracted A in the Philippines (viral) and must have came in contact with B as a BioMed but never had symptoms. As a Reservist and later Active Military I was tested a number of times for the antibodies because you cannot get the vax if you have antibodies. I always tested positive for A and B. Why is COVID not treated the same way?

Gamma globulin(s) are solutions of the antibodies derived from plasma donors.

The injections are thick and have some volume to them, so they hurt. We dispense a lot of Rabies Globulin to the ER, and weight based doses can be in the 5 - 10ml range. Multiple injections are needed and I understand it can be painful.

Hep B without symptoms is frightening.

In 1976, I was working in a pathology lab and was exposed to hep B when I was cut by a broken test tube containing a hepatitis blood sample. I got two gamma globulin shots about a week apart; the first was fairly uncomfortable, but the second was OK because I rode my bicycle to work right afterward. I have no idea whether I had antibodies after that, though I have since donated blood numerous times.
