How a no-name ‘idiot’ gained Trump’s trust, rose to power in final WH days

A bombshell new book reveals how a no-name “f–king idiot” MAGA fanatic grabbed power in the final days of the Trump administration — becoming “deputy president” and creating a “Gestapo” to root out traitors.

With the White House dissolving in paranoid disarray in President Donald Trump‘s final year in office, Johnny McEntee, 29, emerged seemingly out of nowhere to become head of the ultra-powerful Presidential Personnel Office, according to “The Final Act of the Trump Show” by ABC’s chief DC correspondent, Jonathan Karl.

McEntee had virtually no political experience, starting out with the administration carrying Trump’s luggage, Karl writes in an excerpt published by The Atlantic on Tuesday.

“I would take your average bag boy over nearly any professional politician, any day of the week!”

There haven’t been any bag boys since sometime in the 90’s.
They’re called “courtesy clerks” these days. Everyone has to have a cool title don’tcha know.
Still probably more motivated than the average career politician.

“McEntee had virtually no political experience, starting out with the administration carrying Trump’s luggage...”

So he was not a bought and paid for swamp creature, and he was a hard worker, and personally loyal to President Trump. Guess those are 3 strikes against him to the sewer dwellers.

Well, Biden’s transportation secretary got his start hooking up with random men in a truck stop restroom.

(Let him sue me and prove it’s not true!)

If President Trump would have just quit draining the swamp and making America great again, no one would have betrayed him.

The FReepers who are always blaming the betrayals on President Trump’s “poor judge of character” need to remember that. He didn’t go to DC to make friends - he went there to kick ass.

What he did was equivalent to a new CEO announcing he is going to replace all the directors, cut everyone budget and eliminate half the departments.

Of course he’s going to get stabbed in the back.

Which Frank Lucas are you talking about? The Harlem drug kingpin or the Representative? 🙂

Who was odungo's national security adviser that started out as a van driver?

Yeah, you’re right but nobody expected much from Obama because everyone knows he’s just a puppet reject from some faculty lounge somewhere. He’s not even eligible for the office and everyone knows that too. He’s malleable and drug addled. A high risk for blackmail due to his bathhouse antics which are well known in Chicago’s LGBTQ + community. Wife is a trans hero - kids are rented - dumb as a fence post.

With Trump, you have basically and outsider billionaire that’s run everything from construction companies to television shows so the expectations are considerably higher.

Barack had one real occupation before becoming a teat nuzzling government layabout - an ice cream sales associate at Baskin Robbins (which he got fired from for product larceny and theft)

“... Kamala Harris started out as Willie Brown’s prostitute....”

C’mon Irishman! You know she wasn’t a prostitute. Kamala was Willie’s mistress. She’s was on salary.

Actually I think he's managed to expose quite a few characters. Some even you might admire or maybe even voted for.

It's always a lucky day for them when a Trump ankle biter can get a chance to display their brilliant hindsight.

This is not journalism. Pathetic. For all I know,
this fellow was perfect for the position and did a great job. Or are you going to trust Janathan Karl to tell you what to think?

Willie was smart enough to let the State of California pick up the tab (i.e., through her two state commission stipends).

The only thing that worries me about Trump 2.0 is whether he's going to appoint the same kind of losers he appointed the first time around.

Too little, too late. I actually thought people like him would be going through the agencies early on in 2017 weeding out the deep staters and “field promoting” or bringing in competent staff.
