New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu (R) announced on Tuesday that he will not run for Senate in 2022 and will instead seek another term as governor.
The decision leaves an open field for other Republicans to challenge incumbent Democratic Sen. Maggie Hassan (N.H.) in the midterms.
Republicans in Washington, including National Republican Senatorial Campaign Committee Chair Rick Scott (R-Fla.), had pushed for Sununu to launch a challenge against Hassan. The GOP views the seat, which non-partisan Cook Political Report rates it as “lean Democratic,” as a potential pickup in their bid to take back the Senate.

My sentiments exactly, thank God.
Sununu needs to be jailed for the stunt he pulled in mid Oct. using the State Troopers as Gestapo in a meeting.
Who can beat Maggie?
Thank God!!!
His brother was a worthless democrat helpmate when he was in the Senate. His father gave us David Souter. He’s called the cops on parents at schoolboard meetings, etc.
There must be a qualified conservative America loving electable MAGA candidate in N.H.
Coward. Our best chance to take back the seat. Ayotte lost by 600 votes. Bad overall result. I say put an end to his career next November or in the primary. Taking the seat is now wishful thinking barring a wave election.
A politician that abuse his power like that, if tried and found guilty, deserves execution.
I’m thinking that the guy who shows up to a town hall with dozens of troopers and starts arresting folks for no reason might have seen the writing on the wall. Better to not run and protect that fragile ego then go down in flames. Of course, he would have been able to rely on a the sizable RINO-Romneyesque-Bush-Cheney wing of the Republican voting, present everywhere because they don’t like mean tweets, for a few votes.
There are. They are everywhere.
But those candidates, unless they have the ability to finance their own campaigns(initially) like Donald Trump did, get nowhere because the state party apparatus likes to pick who runs. The party picks the person that serves the interests of the party, the donors, the developers and big business before trying to do anything to help the people.
Free-state project libertarians could make the difference. I hope they run a liberty-caucus type candidate.
Ok, NH. Any conservatives that we should be supporting?
I'm available, but the "donor community" won't have me and I hate meeting people.
If written in, I will make the supreme sacrifice and move to DC.
Retired General Don Bolduc is running. He’s an America First patriot who is polling only 2 points currently behind Hassan. He’s probably why Sununu decided not to run.
Sununu turned the NH State Troopers into the Gestapo long before Mid-October. He is a tyrant and a rotten Governor. He actually makes Charlie Parker look fair.
Sununu in the Senate would get him off the backs of the NH citizens.
Retired U.S. Army Brigadier General Don Bolduc has also announced his candidacy for the Republican nomination. HE’S A GOOD MAN!
Second...running for the Senate would be a step down.
GOOD!
He has been doing a lot of good the bills he has chosen to sign and veto.
>> Charlie Parker look fair
Bird played pretty fair saxophone.
