Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf (D) intends to allow school districts to modify or end mask mandates for K-12 students starting on Jan. 17.
Wolf’s administration imposed a statewide mask mandate in September, citing the surge of infections and hospitalizations from the highly contagious delta variant of the novel virus, according to the Associated Press.
“Now, we are in a different place than we were in September, and it is time to prepare for a transition back to a more normal setting,” Wolf said in a statement on Monday.

Should be effective immediately. Mask optional ASAP. Kids are getting speech delays, tooth decay, acne. And can’t smile at or hear their teachers or each other. And try learning a foreign language in high school without the teacher seeing the students’ lips move and without the students seeing the teacher’s lips move.
And we need to get the kids back in the cafeterias to eat instead of outdoors in the rain like animals.

Yes to the acne. My 15 yr. old grandson was just talking about it yesterday. He was out of school for a week(for reasons I can’t say)and his acne cleared up, now after back in school for a week it’s back.
Wolf is a scumbag who knows how to read the political tea leaves following the shellacking teacher’s union puppet board candidates received in school board elections throughout the Commonwealth last week.
