Hospitals in Colorado are being allowed to turn away patients as the state experiences its worst Covid surge in a year.
An order signed Sunday by Gov. Jared Polis gives health care professionals the authority to prioritize crisis care under the direction of the state health department.
While the state has a nearly 80 percent partial vaccination rate, unvaccinated people with severe Covid-19 are overwhelming hospitals, many of which reported being over 90 percent capacity, according to Scott Bookman, Covid-19 incident commander for the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.

Apparently time to plug into The Matrix.
Triage by political views being implemented.
Buh buh buh Rat-run state SCIENCE muh muh muh.
What a load of pony poop.
The hospital is not a good place to go if you want to survive.
It was hot and humid forcing people inside in the South this summer to spread disease and cases went up and all over the media - they have been down for weeks now. It’s been cold in Colorado for about a month and folks are staying inside spreading disease and cases are going up. Just an observation.

No it has not been cold for about a month. We had a short 3 or 4 day cool off but it has been warmer than normal for the last month or so. The High country is even warmer than usual.
Are you in Colorado?
I suspect one could find a very strong correlation between Deaths and Hospital Visits.
FYI, 80% isn’t 100%. So they’re willing to let ppl die to prove a political point??!!?
Looks like it.
The left has no limit on their bloodlust.
Have not lived in that beautiful state since the 90’s. I pay attention to weather there. But if you are there then okay. I guess the increase in cases is only due to the fact vaccinated spread the virus - as CO is one of the most vaxxed states out there.
Had a relative cancel Christmas who lives in CO back in July as in MO cases were high and we were a risk (which is where I am from). CO now has four times as many cases and deaths. Viruses are going to virus.
Perhaps my observations are incorrect as I look at worldometers. Cold states are up.

TL;DR: Colorado weather is really nice, DoD is mandating vaccines, we as a nation might be militarily fooked.

Reporting from the Front Range of Colorado.
The Autumn days here have been beautiful for the past couple months. A few days of cold. That being about around freezing overnight. Daytime has been from 60-70F. Me?
I work for DoD. Mandates. In the office next door, fifteen feet away, 9 of 15 are just now out sick. All vaccinated. In my office? I just had COVID in September. Two and a half days sick in the office before I couldn’t even function and had to take sick leave. My supervisor needed a positive test before I could take sick days off. While I was waiting three days for results, I had to be there. Then I had a positive test. Out for another nine days.
Yes, my supervisor charged me sick leave for having the COVID Kung Flu. I had to get back to work because I was burning up my sick leave. Back in the office with a 101 fever. Sick, coughing throughout October. Now it’s November.
The Boss wants us in the office whether we’re sick or not. While the commanding general says “stay home and work”. Some of these BOOMER people just LOVE being in the office and having their henchmen there NO MATTER WHAT. To clarify, my boss is three steps below the CG. That makes me four below.
Not to worry, my boss is 63 yo with health problems and gladly took the clot shot, getting his booster soon. He’ll be dead in a couple years and I’ll need three people to help me pull his 300 pound ass out of his desk chair when he dies while checking his facebook and making sure we’re all on the clock.
Sad.
The problem here is the CEO (the CG) says one thing, but a couple levels below him the ‘managers’ are running rampant over their employees and the CEO isn’t even aware of things. He’s very busy.
For a microcosm of the DoD, I observe that there are about 30% that are necessary administrative personnel that you have to suck up to in order to have the right paperwork. That’s the real overhead. About 50% that are people being paid to show up that don’t do anything.
The other 20% are Patriots trying to do the right thing and pushing the rock up the hill like Sisyphus.
Boy almighty! Pray for all of them.
[laplata - not directed at you, just venting and sharing]
Colorado's Gov. just kicked unvaccinated people out of hospital! ( A crime against humanity)
And Big Med is cool with that.
Clap for carers!
And is it a surge of people sick with nosocomial cases of CoupFlu spread by the vaxxed, harmed by the vaxxes...
Both?!
I feel for you and the others. That is terrible and unacceptable. This is all so evil. God bless.
So are we seeing a collapse of the DoD?
No comment other than your observations and conclusions are really messed up. No more back and forth with you.
Death panels.
Where have I heard that before...?
