A judge ruled Wednesday that he'll seat one Black juror and 11 whites to decide the trial of the men who chased and killed Ahmaud Arbery, despite prosecutors' objections that several Black potential jurors were cut because of their race.
Superior Court Judge Timothy Walmsley acknowledged that "intentional discrimination" by attorneys for the three white defendants charged in the death of the Black man appeared to have shaped jury selection. But he said Georgia law limited his authority...

Laura Hogue, an attorney for Greg McMichael, insisted those jury panelists were cut for other reasons — namely for expressing strong opinions about the case when questioned individually by attorneys.

She noted one such juror had written on her juror questionnaire that Arbery was shot "due to his color" and had told attorneys she felt the defendants were guilty.

The media will not talk much about the defense team's REASONS for dismissing the potential jurors. Why? Because it may show those jurors we're already biased against the defendants.

Is this the guy who tried to rip off tools from a construction site? They claimed he was “jogging” yet he “jogged” right onto the construction site of a house which is why they confronted him. That neighborhood was having a lot of break ins and theft. Those guys who killed him though were absolute freakin’ morons, they should have called the cops. You want to hold someone at gunpoint, you don’t stand close enough to them where they can grab the gun.

That’s Wikipedia for you. Right away from the top they try to portray him as an innocent jogger who was minding his own business when all of a sudden white supremacists killed him for being black. They don’t mention that he was scoping places out or walked onto the construction sight until way down the page.
I tried to join that site, Wikipedia, to edit articles but they won’t let me. It ticks me off because leftists run it. On Mark Levis page right from the top they classify him as “right wing” when in fact he’s a constitutional conservative. They don’t pull that crap on Pelosi, AOC or Schumers pages calling them “Left wing”.
Assuming the defendant is white, it sounds like he’s (mostly) getting a jury of his peers...which I think is what’s required.

Sounds to me like the Black jury pool didn't want to serve jury duty.
It is pretty well known that if you don't want to serve jury duty you just have to give the lawyer a reason to exclude you.
Just answer a question in a way that makes you out to be prejudiced against the defendant.

The man leading the chase was a retired cop, and had previously dealt with Aubery in his official capacity as a cop, if I recall correctly. Oh, and they did call the cops, but the cops weren't getting there very quickly.

You didn't watch the video. Aubery came running up the road, which was the only exit from the neighborhood, and he charged at the man holding the shotgun and tried to wrest it away from him.
Aubery deserved to be shot.

I haven't looked at the wikipedia entry lately. Do they mention the fact that this piece of sh*t had been caught on camera in that house on previous occasions at night? They know it was him because they could identify his tattoos.
