I know nothing about this case... however we need to be honest in the larger context...
Some women/girls will lie about being harassed, assaulted etc, they will lie for attention, they will lie to get back at someone, the will lie to cover up... NO, I am not saying MOST girls/women do this, but it does indeed happen.
I was falsely accused by a girl long ago of doing something to her that NEVER happened. Fortunately, it never got to any level of police involvement.
If this girl was indeed assaulted this school district should be taken to the woodshed... If however, this girl is known to be someone who has a history of issues, and false claims, then maybe the school district is in the right.
Just because you get charged by the police doesn’t mean it happened.
If he did it, I feel for this girl and take the school to the woodshed and get him out of the school and off the streets....
If however this is a hoax/false accusation, I feel for this kid, he’s in a no win... Even if he is cleared of everything can’t unring having to go through something like that. If it is false accusations then this girl needs to be removed from the school and off the streets as well
Guess we will find out in time.
Whatever happened to “Believe the women!”?
Democrats
Or the girl has a history of making false accusations...
Don’t assume the school district is in the wrong here. They could be, or they could be far more aware of the truth than this story, which is intended to provoke reaction against the school, does.
In one of the *best* high schools in Charlotte, six girls reported being raped over the past couple of years. Every rape was covered up and not prosecuted - so the rapes continued. This year alone they have already discovered and confiscated 15 hand guns. Schools are not safe places to send your children.
Maybe she cried wolf one too many times?....................
And the culture of rape.
Are you saying they must prosecute? They didn't prosecute some of the girls raped at the high school. It was covered up and victims signed non-disclosure agreements.
What does SPJNK mean?
The only solution to such actions is personal financial lawsuits against the offending authorities. Laws must be changed to prevent their being exemptions from such lawsuits.
Maybe the boy was a member of a protected class?
This’ll start happening in Target soon. If it hasn’t already.
The laws should allow agency defence against frivolous lawsuits, but prevent agency payment of penalties upon conviction. And should require convicted persons to reimburse the public agencies the cost of their defense upon conviction.
Years ago, I lived in Charlotte and worked with a man whose daughter was taking karate. I think she was about 6 or 7. There was an older, much larger boy in her class (8? 9?) whose father was an athlete there - can’t remember if he was a Hornet’s bb player or for the Panthers. Anyhoo, the yute was grabbing all the little white girls by the neck when they were on the playground and squeezing until they cried and when the parents complained, nothing was ever done. Until. My coworker’s daughter asked her dad if she could use karate on him to protect herself and her father said, “absolutely”. So, not long after, the boy put his hands on her neck and she punched him in the throat, downing him. The teacher saw, the girl ws taken to the principal’s office and my coworker was called. The school was going to suspend her!!!! When he told them to tread very carefully and reminded them of what parents had been complaining about with that boy, they said, “well, he has a bad home life” like that excused him assaulting little girls. My coworker’s daughter went back to her class and nothing was done to the boy but he sure walked a wide circle around her after that.
Let’s just say that the Charlotte education system has a history...
You guys just don't get it, even in the face of evidence. The boy admitted he pulled her into the girls bathroom and he admitted he did it.
In the case of the six rapes, they had the rape kit evidence.
The “professional educators” from the K5 teacher to the presidents of universities are the biggest hypocrites and thugs in humanity. They ALL coverup for the bullies while proclaiming they are seriously anti-bully and will not tolerate any sexual harassment.
If anything happens in an educational setting at the first whiff of coverup get law enforcement involved immediately and lawyer up. If a crime is committed call law enforcement immediately and do not EVER call campus police, get a sheriff’s department or local city police agency involved. Campus police will do whatever these saintly educators in charge tell them.
My son worked at a university as armed security that was voted one of the safest university campuses in the USA in the last five years. Him and an older guard got to noticing they were being instructed to be seen at a certain group of dorms more than usual. Finally they asked the police department lieutenant whats up with the extra patrols in these dorms? The LT. told them that three women students were gang raped by members of one of the universities sports team.
They were also told the women went to the local hospital and were treated and rape kit exams which showed violent rapes. Also two of the women didn’t tell their parents but one did and they threw a fit on administration. They were bought off essentially by administration. The older security guard had to go to the chiefs office for something and was told to wait in there and laying on the desk in the open were the reports on the rapes with names, dates and details. Nothing was done and it was all covered up. A month or so later after the university thought it was taken care of the hospital called and asked them how they wanted to proceed with the evidence taken from these women’s rape kit exams. More coverup ensued and that year this university was voted safest in the USA. Educators promote attacks from the violent and bullies upon the weak or turn a blind eye.
One hopes that there are those in this girl’s family who make it their life’s work to right this wrong.
Arresting and referring to prosecutors is police job. Prosecutors decide if enough evidence to bring to court. At least that is how I understand it. I dont think we ask the police to ignore an accusation of sexual crime and require them to make a decision.
“...‘Hey, look, unfortunately, it looks like there’s no evidence that shows that what your daughter saying took place,’ the mother said.”
Did the school dust the girl’s breasts for fingerprints?
Maybe these are not common in other states, but around here, there is a law about mandated reporting, and can end up spelling prison time for those (for example, teachers or school officials, etc.) who become aware of and do not report these types of assaults to law enforcement.
