A red wave washed over Long Island on Tuesday as suburban voters embraced Republican candidates in a number of key posts in both Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
A reflection of the GOP’s strong showing across the country, Republicans flipped district attorney posts on the island from blue to red after beating the drum over criminal justice reforms approved by Democrats in Albany.
In Nassau, Republican Anne Donnelly beat out Democratic state Sen. Todd Kaminsky, who conceded early Wednesday morning, 60% to 40%, following a bruising battle over bail....

Demonrats saddened
No,the criminals are saddened
Ping.
Ping.
Soros has paid millions to buy DA elections in dozens of large and small cities around the country. Austin has been turned into a lawless socialist “utopia” like San Francisco because the Soros purchased DA will not prosecute criminals.
I hope this Red Wave will rid us of these bought and paid for DA’s and Sorryoss gets a good comeuppance in jail whilst awaiting his seat in hell. Houston has the same problem and I hope the voters will see what can be done if you get out and vote for the right people.
Fantastic!
I live in Suffolk County, NY. In 2020, 1,500 cops made over $200,000.00, courtesy of the county's taxpayers. I swear, this is not a misprint.
Public Unions have destroyed the county.
Long Island is filled with Haves and Have-Nots who want nothing to do with each other. The Have-Nots live better than the working class and consider them fools. The working class are the Schmucks of Society. They work, work, and work and pay taxes, taxes, and taxes and never get anywhere.
The corrupt Public Unions (Cops, Teachers, politicians, etc.) horde the wealth and the counties claim poverty and deficits. When these overpaid Public Union employees retire, they leave the Island and spend their Long Island citizen-funded Pensions and Welfare benefits elsewhere. Long Island has too few high-paying private-sector jobs, heavy drug use, plenty of crime, and lots of hate.
