No one can actually say, at this point, why exactly Glenn Youngkin defeated Terry McAuliffe in the Virginia governor's race. That doesn't mean everyone isn't already saying everything, however, or that it doesn't matter that a Republican just won fairly handily in a state Joe Biden carried by 10 points a year ago......
Speaking of which, one of the newer fundamentals in this country's politics is that elections are only legitimate if Republicans win them. At least according to Republicans. You may notice there have been zero concerns raised about Voter Fraud or any other phantasmagorical election threat in the Virginia race now that a Republican won. (This, not long after you could find a segment on Fox News in which you'd learn the only way a Democrat could win a statewide election in California[!] was through fraud.) This is because Republicans consider themselves the true polity: Real America. In this case, they chose who will wield power, so there's no need to backfill all the mumbo-jumbo about Hugo Chavez in order to declare the Democrat who got more votes illegitimate. Plenty were prepared to, though. Youngkin might not have gone as hard in the paint on this stuff, but a campaign surrogate, Republican state senator Amanda Chase, was talking it up at a rally last month. Reuters helpfully reminds us that Chase called on Donald Trump to declare martial law following his 2020 loss.
That's all baked in. The scary part, maybe, is that the average voter does not really care about the ongoing threat to democracy. Is that new? And is it a failure on the part of Democrats? Can we fault a national political media that has mostly returned to who 's-up-and-who 's-down coverage 10 months after an outgoing president fomented an insurrection?

I like how this idiot completely forgot 2016-2019 when the elections were stolen by RUSSIANS. Until everything was ok in 2020 but now, not so much.
Meanwhile he didn’t say boo about Democrats continued loosening of voter security laws and letting as many paper ballots be printed and filled out without verification.
They should do a full forensic audit. They won’t.
That being said, we must realize and work with the paradigm thematic, in fact, it is the democrats who have the cheating system in place not the republicans. If this were to be shown by full forensic audit, esquire would still whine

I’m of two minds. I believe the Clintons are being purged from the new Obama deep-state Democrat Party, and McAwful certainly is as close to the Clintons as they come.
Would the DNC have cranked up the fraud machine a bit harder for another candidate? Might they take the attitude of - well, as long as he’s gone, its a temporary setback that’s worth it.
Just a thought.
The margin of victory was so great the fraud could not overcome it... meaning they could not effectively fabricate enough votes to overwhelm reality without it being absurd. It was absurd in 2020 - that’s why we all know about the fraud.
Democrats will never claim voter fraud because any investigation would only convict them.

It’s well known that Democrats use fraud as a tool to win elections. They are utilitarians and the ends always justify the means. It is well known that Republicans are the party of rule of law the constitution and christianity and therefore don’t feel like fraud is a legitimate way to get political power. I had two ballots that were my kids’ and I made darn sure they filled them out themselves so they would not be wasted. I never considered filling them out myself. But then I am not a Democrat.
Virginia is in play for 2024. It will be hard for the Dems to pull off a 2020 cheat-fest with Youngkin & Winsome Sears in place.

Rats always cheat. There may not have been enough fraud to overcome the republicans turn out but it is there if they look for it. Reps need to run an audit, find the fraud, and shove it down the rats throats before the state senate elections. Without fraud this republican wave would have been a tsunami.
I’ve been calling for an audit of the Virginia election before and after Youngkin was declared the winner.
I have no doubt fraud was still involved in the Democrat side. I want to know how much and how they did it.
Republicans should call for an audit of the election they won. What will the left say to stop that? But I guarantee they will try and stop it because they know we know.
