With children increasingly being exposed to the “normality” of transgenderism, there’s growing interest among children to pursue a gender change when they are not intellectually mature enough to be capable of such decisions. A few moments of thought show how worrisome this is and the unfair effects that emanate from these allowances.
As we all know, all human beings are different in appearance, abilities, and personality. Part of growing up is becoming comfortable with who you are. In middle school and/or high school that’s a slow process but it picks up as we get older.
When it comes to biological gender, most people recognize that feminine and masculine traits exist on a continuum and are not fixed points. However, letting children decide their sex and, especially, whether to “transition,” is obviously wrong-headed. It is well covered in the medical research that the "rational part of a teen’s brain isn’t fully developed and won’t be until age 25 or so." Being “smart” in school has nothing to do with this, good judgment is not something they can be proficient in. And obviously, children are even less capable of this.
Here’s a real-life example: A close friend of mine back when he was in 7th - 9th grade, having had an early growth spurt, thought he was too tall and constantly complained that his growth must be stopped. His parents did their best to mollify him including bringing him to the family doctor for support. He understandably never got his way but was proud, later, to be tall in high school.
But there are some, sadly, including physicians, who think children should be allowed to "transition" and "de-transition." One physician writing at at Vox thinks doing so is “just part of a person’s healthy psychological development.”

Immediately put them in psychiatric care. Get them away from mental Liberal influences. Encourage normal gender behaviors . Take away their phones.

Society used to slap them silly.
Sex is immutable.
One cannot change from male to female or female to male.
Enabling mental illness is child abuse.
Society used to proceed with reckless abandon to ridicule, shaming, casting out, and mental asylums. Why was this not the correct approach?
Keep them away from psychiatric care, those are the people pushing this madness.
I am afraid this will not end until these twisted and mutilated kids start suing the psychologists, doctors, and surgeons who did this to them.
There is NO "normality of transgenderism".

Humans can select their manner of dress, their appearance, their sexual choices, but, show me a single time that anyone has changed their chromosomes and therefore changed their gender.
They suicide before they sue.
Permanent body modification (including hormones) before 30yo or producing a child needs to be illegal.

No. They need to be institutionalized. It’s a severe mental illness.
That is why activists use the word gender, a vocabulary word. I read Dr Money, first doc to perform genital rejiggering surgery, started the use of gender for sex. That is Newspeak, from George Orwell’s 1984.
Women who take testosterone grow beards & their voices lower permanently. In other words, permanent side effects. I don’t know if boys have permanent side effects from taking estrogen.
Puberty blockers, which some gender confused kids take to bypass adolescent changes to their bodies, reduce IQ. Something to do with adolescent hippocampus changes that don’t happen. That will be a big court ordered payment for the kids that sue.
