Virginia Republicans wrestled away control of the Virginia House of Delegates to take away the Democrats’ 55-45 majority held since 2019.
In Tuesday’s close election that saw Republicans sweep all three statewide races, Republicans also won back at least six seats in the Commonwealth’s lower chamber, resulting in a one-person majority for Republicans, according to data from the Virginia Public Access Project (VPAP).

Trump taught many R’s how to stand up to the evil, lying dems. Many seem less afraid of the press than they were pre Trump.
No, but they can pass things in the chamber they do control and put pressure on the commies that control the senate. Republicans usually say things like, “well, we can’t do anything since we don’t have total control.”
Hopefully, they will make VOTER ID and vote integrity the top priority for them. They can stay in power with the right ideas, but only if they can kill the fraudulent mail in ballets, etc.
LOL
It is usually activists who do the research and documentation of what is happening and then go to the State reps. for action.
As P.J. O'Rourke said, "Republicans are the party that says government doesn't work. Then they get elected and prove it."
The first order on the agenda should be demanding a full audit of the election!
America has completely rejected Liberalism, but they also rejected Trump personally. This is more apparent than ever now.
Now that Trump is no longer on the ballot, the people are flooding back to us to droves, with us running on Trumps issues without the baggage of Trumps personal failings.
Seems like due to RINOs, repubs need a 2/3 majority or better in both houses, plus a non-RINO governor that will sign good things into law. That’ll probably never happen in VA.

The news keeps getting worse for Dems in VA, where the correction of a reporting error appears to have flipped another House of Delegates seat to the GOP. Republicans now on track for 52R-48D, pending provisionals/recounts.”
With his unprecedented economic boom and almost miraculous level of challenging accomplishments, Trump was set to coast to re-election prior to the pandemic, the economic problems it caused, and the Dem’s extreme politicization of the pandemic against him. Yet, even with the Dem’s radically altering our elections for their gain and counting all sorts of illegal ballots, Trump still almost pulled out a win in the middle of a pandemic, economic downturn, and the most unfair, hysterical negative press coverage for a political figure at least in our lifetimes and perhaps in the history of the US.
There is no real sign that the US has rejected the best can-do president in our history. He ran under the worst imaginable circumstances and only “lost” by a tiny amount in three swing states. What happened in this election is that the pandemic and economic downturn (and now rampant inflation) are Biden and the Dems’ baby, and the people are now blaming him for it instead of Trump. Add to that Biden’s self-made catastrophes in Afghanistan and the border, plus the left going insane pushing dangerous, irrational neo-Marxist social engineering especially on children, and it’s clear this election was a referendum on the Dems’ going full Marxist, not Trump or even Republicans in general.
The VA legislature votes as a one block on judicial nominations (all 140 seats), so R’s now control the process by 1 seat (71/69) for the next 2 years if 52/48 holds in the HoD.
This is HUGE for replacing the retiring Republican on the VA Supreme Court.
That is President Trump’s legacy, fight back people 🇺🇸
Lt. Gov. Sears breaks the tie.
Just when I thought VA was lost, I actually have respect for the place again.
Mess-NBC can go suck an egg.
I wish Virginia were a bell weather state.
Cleaning up election fraud in Virginia must be on the agenda.
This has only been a problem since the ratification of the Nineteenth Amendment.
For whatever reason it seems like the vast majority of women don't like argumentative people, which is exactly what is required to push back against the natural tendency of a Government to grow exponentially.
