America has completely rejected Liberalism, but they also rejected Trump personally. This is more apparent than ever now.
Now that Trump is no longer on the ballot, the people are flooding back to us to droves, with us running on Trumps issues without the baggage of Trumps personal failings.
With his unprecedented economic boom and almost miraculous level of challenging accomplishments, Trump was set to coast to re-election prior to the pandemic, the economic problems it caused, and the Dem’s extreme politicization of the pandemic against him. Yet, even with the Dem’s radically altering our elections for their gain and counting all sorts of illegal ballots, Trump still almost pulled out a win in the middle of a pandemic, economic downturn, and the most unfair, hysterical negative press coverage for a political figure at least in our lifetimes and perhaps in the history of the US.
There is no real sign that the US has rejected the best can-do president in our history. He ran under the worst imaginable circumstances and only “lost” by a tiny amount in three swing states. What happened in this election is that the pandemic and economic downturn (and now rampant inflation) are Biden and the Dems’ baby, and the people are now blaming him for it instead of Trump. Add to that Biden’s self-made catastrophes in Afghanistan and the border, plus the left going insane pushing dangerous, irrational neo-Marxist social engineering especially on children, and it’s clear this election was a referendum on the Dems’ going full Marxist, not Trump or even Republicans in general.
You’re delusional.
America has completely rejected Liberalism, but they also rejected Trump personally. This is more apparent than ever now.
Well, aren’t we feeling our oats now. Youngkin won by 2%. 70k votes. Hardly a mandate election or wave.
I will agree, though, that a lot of weak and stupid GOP voters have rejected Trump. I hope they enjoy having their daughters raped in high school bathrooms. The young girls don’t deserve that but their idiot parents do for supporting marxist democrats who burn our cities.
You know where you can stick it?
Dear Republicans,
Trump is the Republican party. Unless you change and embrace MAGA and build on that the Republican party is doomed.
Yep. They did. People here don't want to hear it but it looks to be true. They embraced "Trumpism without Trump."
And this is why I'm not going to support his bid for re-election in 2024. Of course, if he gets the nomination, I'll vote for him, but I really hope he doesn't run. He had his shot.
I want someone younger and more disciplined to carry the MAGA banner. Youngkin proved that you can assemble a winning coalition of MAGA and moderate suburbanites.
Trump, thankfully, stayed on the sidelines. Last night's victorious Republicans should send Jack Dorsey a thank-you card for keeping Trump off Twitter and forcing the Democrats to campaign on their own failed policies instead of mean tweets.
