People who OD are reducing the harm in others.
Darwin predicted it.

Every year, more than 480,000 Americans die from smoking-related health issues. In the United States, smoking causes more than $300 billion annually in economic costs, including $225 billion in “direct medical care for adults” and more than “$156 billion in lost productivity.”SO?
CHOICE is good!
My body - my choice.

Not only are e-cigarettes 95 percent safer than combustible cigarettes, ...Except in a car; then the exhalation is so thick you can't see out the windscreen!

We should ban all automobiles, including trucks.

Yet they are ignoring the worst epidemic of all time--one that will, ultimately, destroy our country.
The stupidity epidemic.

... but there are solutions to help the millions of Americans that continue to smoke. I'm sure there are...
“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience. They may be more likely to go to Heaven yet at the same time likelier to make a Hell of earth. This very kindness stings with intolerable insult. To be "cured" against one's will and cured of states which we may not regard as disease is to be put on a level of those who have not yet reached the age of reason or those who never will; to be classed with infants, imbeciles, and domestic animals.”

Meanwhile, they legalize pot without first establishing a national standard for THC intoxication behind the wheel.

Perhaps we should consider Singapore’s approach as part of the solution.

The best way to “embrace all forms of harm reduction” is to drastically eliminate the size and evil intrusiveness of federal government. Especially those at war with the American people. If you’re not gonna do that, then STFU.

The big-government/big-corporate criminal complex is the biggest drug pusher of all.

How are so many overdosing on opioids still? In Florida they will only give prescriptions of 12 tablets. Opioids are very tightly controlled here. I think fentanyl ODs are lumped in with prescription drugs now. Am I wrong?

"
On September 9, 2021, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced “significant progress” in their review of e-cigarettes’ premarket tobacco product applications (PMTAs), which were due in September 2020. In their announcement, the FDA declared that the agency has denied “more than 946,000 flavored [e-cigarette] products because their applications lacked sufficient evidence that they have a benefit to adult smokers sufficient to overcome the public health threat posed by the well-documented, alarming levels of youth use of such products.” "It would appear that big tobacco has bought this ruling.

They are already, aren’t they? This is laughable. Let’s have a program for people who are ADDICTED TO POWER!
“”Becerra commented that the “new strategy focuses on people – putting the very individuals who have struggled with addiction in positions of power.””
To: Kaslin
Find a cause - exploit it - move further up the political ladder.
